Im back with a new hair tutorial. In this video I am showing you all how I do my mini twists. After having my hair in a wash and go for 2 weeks, my hair definitely needed a break for awhile. semmi98 Is hard I know I used to love old school r and b and new school r and b. My mom had me growing up listening to escape so it was really hard. But I pray about it and ask the lord to help me find music that moves me the same way but it praises him at the same time. Now I don't listen at all. take off a little at a time, that should help. But my hair isn't even all over because I trim my own hair, but I don't care about my hair being even just because I wear my hair curly all the time, and you cant really tell when I have my fro out. But if you are comfortable then go to a professional who you trust and is fluent in natural hair

I don't trust anyone with my natural hair yet. I have a little patch on the right side that I broke off from detangling but I'm not ready to even it out. The twists help keep it moisturized though! I wish I could maintain 4 weeks like you!

This is mad cute 😍😍😍 I attempted this last summer , but my hair came right back down . I didn't use the right products I see, so I'll have to try again next time I get some money to go buy some .
thanks, Its not really the products that matter its the technique. I make sure to use products that moisturize my strands very well. But you have to twist tightly, not too tight that you are hurting you scalp but tight enough to keep it secure. You may even need to braid a inch first then twist, I did that a lot when my hair was a lot shorter. also make sure to coil your ends

thank you so much, I trim when needed. mostly every time I twist my hair though, but it is more of a dusting than a trim. I cut off the smallest amount just to keep those single strand knots away
I JUST spent 2 hours doing mini twist and then this video popped up on my feed 🤔🤔🤔 coincidence I think not lol

Heyy there! New subbie here! Love your videos! Super love your hair; it's crazy thick! But yuh do an awesome job with it. I have a question. You said in this video that you let your hair air dry before doing all of your styles; can yuh explain to me what you do to let it air dry? Do you wash, condition, detangle, separate into sections at night and then do the style in the morning? How long do you give your hair to dry? Ive been thinking about trying some twist/braid outs on dry hair and I was just going blow dry it but you air drying your hair had me interested.
thanks so much for the support. I will wash then detangle while I deep condition. Then I will have 4- 8 twists in my head, then I will apply a cotton tshirt over top and air dry like that. since it is summer it takes about 1-2 hours, in the winter time it takes 3 -4 hours. then I will style my hair that same day. If I am lazy and do not want to style my hair the same day I will just add braids or keep the twists in and tie my hair up with a scarf. But I do try to add something like shea butter to seal in the moisture if I do not want to style my hair the day I wash it. Because If I don't my hair will be super dry and knotted and the next day when I do style it, it makes the process harder, and I would have to detangle my hair all over again. You may want to use a light leave in or something that will moisturize you hair once you are done deep conditioning just to keep the moisture in. I have started to do that, just so my hair can be softer before I style it.

Hey I have a twist out playlist and that should help with all your twist needs. But it probably because you are not twisting tightly or you are not coiling your ends... In that playlist I have a how to video on how to do a twist out using products from mielle organics, definitely give that video a look

The first one is a durag, you can get that from any beauty supply store, its meant for men, but it works for women as well, the second is a regular silk scarf I got this many years ago, I'm not sure where you could find it and the bonnet I got from walgreens.

Have you done these twist on your hair when it was shorter? I have shoulder length hair and I put twists in my hair and they shrunk the next day badly to where they look like short locs but I make them look better by styling the front
Yes, I did them when my hair was a lot shorter and yes they shrink up a lot still for me. I have a video on my channel showing how I stretch my mini twists too with just banding.

Does your hair shrink a lot? When I did my mini twist I had no length and my hair is to my collarbone. Even when I did the banding method I still got no length. What am I doing wrong?
You are not alone. My hair can shrink up to 80 percent. But to help, you can do your mini twists on stretched hair or blown out hair for more length. But keep in mind, when remoisturizing, your hair will shrink again, so you can band them or even stretch them across your head then secure with Bobby pins.

its okay, I don't worry about parting in the back, only the front, that's the area that will be the most noticeable
How does your hair stay so detangled? The ends of my hair tend to tangle a lot, even after I detangle it.
For any style I do, I coil my ends and they tend to not tangle up. But when I do have my fro out, my ends does tangle but that's just normal for type 4 hair

hi Bubs Bee I have a question can I finger detangle and use my Annie jomb rake bone comb to detangle my natural 4A/4B natural hair
Finger detangling is always the best route to take and I am not sure about that comb, I have never tried it but if it works great for you then I don't see a problem with it
