  • We made this Winning Review because we wanted want to show you guys a little bit about the Winning brand and also how to identify counterfeit winning gloves and equipment selling on the web and what are things to look out for.
    Winning was established in 1937 and they only produces about 10 pairs of gloves per day in there small factory and that is why supply is so limited and prices are so high. They have a highly skilled crafters they make everything in house at the winning factory in Tokyo Japan (one of the most expensive cities in the world) and they do not outsource there manufacturing because they know that there reputation, trade secrets and quality will go down and damage the brand.
    Winning is known world wide and used by many pro boxers like Pacquiao, Canelo, Mayweather, Cotto, Garcia, GGG and many other because of the excellent durability and protection therefore the product sells it self with out having to sponsor any fighters.
    Let us know what you guys think of the review and if you like it give it a thumbs up and make sure to subscribe to our youtube channel.

    I think a good tip for people who are unsure, in determining if Winning gloves are legit, is just to look at the thumb.The seam running through the thumb doesn't show any thread, which is pretty unique to Winning gloves. The thumb itself looks like it's almost angling inwards. This is when viewing the palmside of the glove rather than the backhand side.

      the fake ones do not have a tag inside. I know this faker on Ebay always has "used" winning. I asked him to take a picture of the tag. Crickets.

      You can also check the laces, the Winning laces are rope laces and don’t have aglets at the end of them

    I have a question, also about to buy Winnings... are the velcro decent quality or is it better to order laces ?
    Due to the convenience im thinking about velcro.

      Both lace and velcro are the same quality in terms of padding and leather. The velcro strap works well and it very low profile but the wrist support does not feel as supportive as other brands but they are very comfortable.

    What's the difference between the logo with and without the yellow border

    • @msmfightshopmiami
      @msmfightshopmiami  Před 5 lety +11

      The winning with the yellow logo are 8/10oz fight gloves and have very soft padding foam padding designs for pro fights and mitt work. The winning's gloves with the normal white logo have multiple layers of padding and are designs for sparring and bag work.

    How come some have the logo made in Japan others don’t ??? And what is the most popular glove

    • @msmfightshopmiami
      @msmfightshopmiami  Před 2 měsíci

      Hi, thanks for your question, If your talking about the label inside the gloves, in the past couple of years winning has changed the label inside, before it used to say the model Ex. MS- 400 and made in Japan and about 2 years ago winning changed the label material and design of it, now it shows the winning logo and it says made in japan. this video is about 5 years old... Regarding the most popular gloves, winning are very popular and considered the best gloves in the world but they produce very little quantity to keep the quality as high as possible and have a very high demand, making them hard to get and more expensive. Other popular brands that make excellent quality gear is phenom, reyes and high end rival gloves.

    How the deference between fit of The gloves, 16 oz vs 14 oz?? Is that much deference?

    • @msmfightshopmiami
      @msmfightshopmiami  Před 3 lety +2

      The 14 oz fit a bit more sung and they are little lighter than the 16oz, that's the only difference.

      @@msmfightshopmiami ok thanks, but i don't get it, my 14 oz winning lace up, they weight 489 g.. =15'4oz... And they fit perfect... But ones i ordered 14 oz lace up 3 months ago, and when i got them, it was a big difference between my old 14 oz and The new one 14 oz. My old ones have much more padding, weight 489 g, 15'4 oz round.. And the fit of The gloves are much wider then new ones.. Something must be wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔..

    Great review! Im about to buy the black 16oz velcro version and just got a few questions to make sure it's real and not fake:
    1) Are all Winning gloves, including the most up to date versions all have the "Made In Japan" and "MS600 (model #)" tag on the inside on both gloves?
    2) Are all Winning gloves on the inside dark blue?
    3) Does the velcro versions come with the tags in Japanese writings like the lace up version in your video?
    About to order soon, so hope to hear back from you guys!
    Thanks in advance! :)

    • @msmfightshopmiami
      @msmfightshopmiami  Před 2 lety +2

      the 10oz are fight gloves, they are not meant for sparring, 10oz have very little padding and the padding is very soft, you will hurt your opponent and your hands. you should use min 12oz training gloves with thicker padding.
