Initially i was unsatisfied with my old skools because they dont look like my m8s. Only to realize its the Anaheim Factory version which has the classic perks to it.
One of the things he forgot to mention is on the outsole, the rubber part that’s in the front of the shoes doesn’t go as far back towards the back part of the shoes as on regular Vans shoes.
i prefer regular vans product, i think there's nothing different between this anaheim, vault, or any other series, because they have same construction. they just give em different name, and color, nothing else. so i prefer the regular authentic, era, or oldskool
When it comes to Vans, I mostly wear sk8 hi's. I have a pair of the general release Navy and I have the Anaheim Factory pair in Black/red. 2 different shoes. The sole on the Anaheim Factory is a lot thicker and has a gloss to it. The canvas is thicker also, the shoe laces are different and the insole has that ultra cush on the heel, a lot more comfortable than general release imo. I prefer the Anaheim Factory more because the shape of the shoe looks a lot better to me to the point I bought another pair of black/reds and I copped a pair of the navy/yellow. They just have a better quality to them, you would need to have both Anaheim Factory and a general release pair in hand to see the difference that I mentioned
There’s a big difference in the shape of the shoe when you compare anything to a Vault OG version. You also have different insoles depending on whether it’s a Vault, GR, or Anaheim. You are also going to see way more premium materials with Anaheim & Vaults vs GR’s.

I think the canvas is a better quality on these too, heavier fabric.

I usually do a size 9 in authentics. Should I go up to 9.5 with the ultracush insole? @LBIFBACK
