Jaysus, these are the boys from the fás course.
Also all the boys on the dole joined them!
They have all our money now
Mighty craic and serious musicians, what about that banjo ? Simply great music and God knows how much we need something like this if only to just reasure people that the world of music has not lost it`s own self of humour. This is exactly what we all need a dose of to cheer us up in these `full on in your face times`. Slainte.

What a great tribute to big Hamish. Fair play lads, that was savage!
Who is big Hamish, and where does this song come from Warren, if I can ask? I love it!
@@seantynan1 Hamish Imlach, famous Scottish folk singer, from Glasgow. Same man who wrote Black is the colour, - Which is brilliantly covered by Christ Moore, (who references Hamish in multiple covers I've heard. - That's where I first heard of him!) 😁
Hamish imlach was born in India though claimed to have been conceived in Glasgow😊😊 Black is the colour was a traditional song about a Scottish guy who ended up in America ,singing about his lost love in Glasgow who's lovely hair was obviously black.
Can't stop listening to this song@

I've always loved this song even if, being Italian, I have difficulties understanding Imlach's accent. This video is wonderful and, I'd say, the right tribute to the song.
From Texas!! Love ya guys!
This shit is so good I can t stand it so glad I found ya boys you make life livable again
Ye gods, that was brilliant! Thanks!
Brilliant lads! Keep the tradition going, cmon the town!

Came across them on Glastonbury and they're great
This is incredible, fair play lads.
Love it .
Excellent!
Unreal class savage bangin belter, beautiful work lads
Amazing that they sing this with a slight scottish twang like the great Hamish Imlach, deadly cover they really done it justice
It's a Dundalk accent
@@liberalirishman1425 it's a Dundalk accent yes, but they're singing with a Scottish twang like Hamish Imlach.
@@webweb9673 No they're not, they're singing with a pure Dundalk accent. You're mistaking it for a Scottish twang
They do with the 'staundin' and the 'chaunces'
@liberalirishman1425 No, they are pronouncing certain words with a Scottish twang the way the writer of the song used to sing it. Which is brilliant. There's certain words in the song you have to prounouce with a Scottish accent no matter what accent you have.
Ah lads this is great, love it
"The flower of the Gorbals!" Ph RIP Hamish, yer still making us larf. And done good Wallopers and Wallopettes
