Right now they have 20% off on pre-orders, so you can get this bike with all the options for $559. My question to you though, are you doing your reviews based on actually riding and testing these bikes or solely on research? Just curious.
I first owned a 2018 fly bikes proton and build quailty is just not there. I got two warranty returns first because of the BB bearing not fitting into frame due to bearing cup being too big. And second frame had some of the paint chipped off from shipping I assume. So yeh as long as u get a good one it is a great bike but also snapped the frame within 2 years(pretty good for me)
You stated that single wall rims won't hold up to a 200lb+ rider. Wil double wall pinned rims hold up? How much stronger is a welded seam? Some rims have both options at a great price difference.
I've always like the style of Fly Bikes. Them and WTP keep it clean and classy on a lot for their bikes.

i saw the drafting of the trebol rims and its kind of an interesting concept, i guess it still technically has small walls haha
I have the fly omega bmx bike and I've put that thing through hell and it rides just like new that's a great company

I love my 2024 PROTON super durable more of a street bike in my opinion. Feels a bit too responsive on ramps I Ride a 21 top tube I'm 5.11'

I was just about to pay for the 2025 kink whip but the fly proton is the same price shipped but it has a freecoaster. I dunno what to do

double wall is good for 200 to probably 300 or more I am not that weight so i do not know for sure
