Finally the writers decided not to make Aaron the jealous one... finally Robert gets to taste a bit of jealousy that Aaron felt practically from the beginning
Robert's face made me laugh out loud. I have never been so happy and there is nobody who deserves to more miserable than Robert and on the opposite end of the spectrum, Aaron's happiness is long overdue.
Now Robert knows the pain Aaron went through when he found out about he and Rebecca. That Dr. is a cutie. Still love Robron but this might be good for them.
Aaron is always the one that's suffering in Robron. I'm happy to see Robert get a taste of that, even though I know that Alex will probably not be around for long.

I'm not saying I prefer Dr Mason but I find it really fucking hard feeling bad for Robert. A part of me does, cause even a cynic with Autism like me (and this is saying something) can see he does actually love Aaron and this is breaking his heart.....so yeah, a bit of pity I can give him but I also strongly believe in making your bed and then lying in it..... so HA! Now you know how Aaron must feel watching you prancing around the village with Rebecca like a ´damn couple! (yes, I know they're not a couple, I know Aaron still loves Robert, I know this is a major bs storyline but you see what I'm getting at)
Angst makes for good stories. I wish the breakup had been over a lot more of a creative storyline than a one night stand but I'm actually okay with them being apart and Aaron trying to move on. He's so young and has only had serious, heavy, emotionally devastating relationships. I like a lighter, happier, flirtier turn for him. He needs breathing room from Robert and yes Robert needs to see how it feels to have the person you love allow another person into their space that is a threat to the relationship. I always felt Robert didn't respect Aaron's very legitimate concerns about Rebecca enough. He is quite complicit in Aaron losing it and going to jail. In fact, regardless of his nefarious motives, it appears Robert continues to always be seen with or around Rebecca. That is an emotional slap in the face. I hope they don't cheapen this or rush it as they've done other storylines. I thought the engagement and wedding happened too quickly. For these two being such an integral part of the show, the writers can afford to write slower, richer, layered plots for them.
What's going to happen are they going to do the deed?...Wow Alex moves faster then a speeding bullet lol. Alex must be really tall by the way he makes Aaron look a lot smaller then when Aaron is with Robert how tall is that guy seriously. Aaron is looking so good I can't say it enough😍

I have to do a bit of psycho-analysing here because as a shrink, I don't understand the hate that Robert is getting from this... that he deserves seeing Aaron trying to move on by dating Doc Alex. Just to be clear, Robert admitted to his husband that he slept with Rebecca. Aaron then forgave Robert of his infidelity. It's just that, it was too soon for Aaron to have forgiven Robert, given that he himself cannot get over the fact that his husband's infidelity had bore a fruit, which is Bex and Rob's baby. Aaron then tried to push Robert to care for the baby, which Robert (seeing through his husband's inner turmoil) tried his best not to feel anything for the child. And when Robert had finally felt something for the child, when he saw the baby scan, he tried to hide the fact (by lying to Aaron) that he wasn't with Rebecca when she had her scan. You have two polarising conflicting personalities in this. First, with Robert who tried to appease his husband by not caring for the child because he knew it would hurt Aaron. And then second, Aaron, who obviously hasn't fully forgiven Robert by any means despite saying he's forgiven him. Aaron's action of physically attacking Robert by throwing a wrench at him, wasn't because Robert lied to him... it was because he couldn't handle the stress of being with someone who promised him that there would be no one, other than him, in Robert's life. Aaron was literally jealous of the baby. In Aaron's mind, the wounds of Robert's betrayal was still fresh regardless of what he said to Robert and what he tried telling himself... and the minute he realised that Robert had kept the baby scan, he felt like another piece of Robert had gone to Rebecca. Like how he feared his dad has taken pieces of him, and that he felt like his dad was slowly taking Robert from him... the minute he pushed Robert away when Robert visited him in prison. Remember when Aaron said, 'People don't stay with me' and Robert said in reply, 'And people don't forgive me'... it's exactly what Aaron and Robert had done. Aaron forgave Robert of cheating on him. But he's still having a hard time forgiving Robert of the possibility of what his husband's infidelity had created, that Robert will eventually leave him for the baby. Such reason was exactly why he left Robert, and left town for a bit. No matter how much he loves Robert, the effects of his abuse and the consequences of what he's gone through in prison coupled with Robert's infidelity, Rebecca and the baby... He'll never be happy if he stayed with him, not because of Robert being a liar and a cheat (well, that's something Robert needs to change though), but because his MIND is so troubled that it's not allowing him to paint a picture of happiness for Robert with the baby and him being a part of it. IMO, I really see Aaron ending up loving Robert's child as his own, which I really wish is the direction of where their story is heading.

I'm watching Aaron story from beginning and I realised that some fans of Aaron Dingle character are ill. They put mythic attributes into this fictional character. They behave like his an angel that every person dream to be with him. I have to very disappoint the ones who have created this utopia. In real life healthy person would never date someone like Aaron Dingle, only desperado or masochist would accept him. I used to think Aaron deserves better than Robert, but stop thinking like that long time ago. They both deserve each other. I already feel sorry for this Doctor, he has no idea what he just sign for.
