I don't know every spec on any tractor like some do but I love to see them, especially the older stuff. BTW, snakes are moving very good here right now, so whenever you're ready to join me on a snake hunt, come on!
We had to stick a crown wheel and pinion in to the front axle of one of the 6830s yesterday. But it's a nice feeling when you see them up and running again.keep them coming Kurt
Sounds good have to say was never a Deere fan after our two 2140s went porous just over a year old an 3640 had a defective rear casing an split with 4 furrow KV until the 6400 came along fond memories o it 😊
Your neat little trick is pumping the oil up around the engine before you then go ahead and add diesel into the mix thus protecting the engine on start up, especially if the engine has been sat for a few days. Very cool move and it also prevents premature death of a very stout engine.
You did lots of work with a lot of new parts. Lets here it run... okay, that's how you do it! Sounds great. You know what this means right? Time to start working the tractor!
Hi Good to see you getting back to some projects, Nothing runs like a Deere,or the other good one I like better is, nothing stops a Deere like a Magnum L.O.L. Well I'm done lunch and off back to hauling the last 50 round bales out of a guys field before it rains again. They already got 5" of rain in the last 2 weeks and as you would say some are right Shyte now !!!!!!!!!. Take care see ya next time.
well it's 5.50 pm here in Canada now the last 16 bales sit outside the house on the trailer, I got a cup of tea and 2 luncheon meat ,cheese and Branston pickle sarnies :). Then I'll go unload and put the baler on if it hasn't rained first, it's coming over pretty black again, feet up might be real later though.
Yes I know ,My horse farrier was here, and I was outside assisting him with my horses,I did watch the Video tho..Sound's like it was a great time for sure..
Which to me, made them less tiring to drive - have you ever driven a Circa 1980 Ford 6600? .......that was one harsh 4 pot to sit behind for a shift? .......just hearing them working in a field put my teeth on edge, yet the larger 7600 4 pot was much better ??
Seems a big tractor for only 103 hp, i used to have an old Ford 6600, i think that was 75/78 hp, seemed quite small compared to the 3350, it was a good all rounder though, 5 foot 6 swipe,4 ton dump trailer, log splitter and occasionally a boughton winch , happy days
Ford 6600 was a 4cyl, 3350 is a 6cyl. 3350 will pull a 9 foot swipe and a 12 ton dump trailer. 3050 was only 95hp, 3650 was 116hp, all exactly the same size as the 3350 which compared to modern standards is tiny.
Yes Dan it's only done about 4 hours since the rebuild. However, using an old JD demonstrator drivers technique I'm going to run it for a day on gentle work, check the oil etc then hammer the bollocks off her on a plough or subsoiler ! He said those that had that done to them always ran clean and pulled well.
The smile says it all :) I dunno Kurt, you and George with your 'modern' tractors.....me, I grew up on the wing of a Power Major lol. Also a Nuffield similar to mine. Nice job.
Nice to have you here Gary ! Yes please go and watch some of the earlier stuff as there's plenty to see and also it's interesting (from my point of view) to see how I have progressed with the channel. There are also some WW2 history vids which a lot of my main viewers find interesting and I enjoy making.
just stopping by to say hi.. been watching on and off for a while. i am planning a trip across the ol pond again and was thinking i might stop in if its ok with you?
We all knew it would start my 3050 was parked for 4 years, put a good pair of batteries on and it went first time. Needs a new alternator now tho unfortunately.
I gave you a 'Thumbs Up', but it would have been more entertaining on our end had you not bled the fuel system properly! It fired a bit too quickly. Oh well, I guess maybe I've witnessed too many the other way! Nicely done. Be Blessed!
You're forgetting, I'm a mechanical genius...! Haha ! The front tank feeds the lower main tank on the underside of the cab so it never ran dry. I primed the oil pump as it had sat for a few months but to be fair, it fired up better than even I expected !
Not really Alan as if I want something I'll just buy it and be done with it and repair as required. Sometimes you need new kit just to get a full warranty.
That sounds cranky as hell, love it!! Keeping the lighting original or going for LEDs? Gathered your torque setting was FT ;). Keep up the good work mate, be seeing you! :)

What was that ? Go.... go what yourself ? I missed that Tim.....
Sorry, it's a bad line, call back later.
Great to see her going. Looking forward to seeing her all built up again and even more excited to see her working
Check out Instagram...

Great sounding tractor brother!! My dream Tractor is a JD 730 diesel with the pony start!!
I have to say I wouldn't say no to one either Tripper !
Hope you're well bud.
All sounds very good ,let's hope it will look as good

Sounds good have to say was never a Deere fan after our two 2140s went porous just over a year old an 3640 had a defective rear casing an split with 4 furrow KV until the 6400 came along fond memories o it 😊
Sounds great! I've always felt its better to invest into repairing/rebuilding the old stuff than buying new
It's a delicate balance Don !
Now thats a proper sounding deere great video
It's getting there Paul.
nice tractor and sounds grate , just finished a 7810 ford , always nice to fire them up for the first time !
Yes it's very satisfying !

Getting there Matt. Keep your eyes on the postbox this week...
Lord Muck okie dokie will do. Thank you.
Nice work now like to see the Mac running
The Mac was just down to my left...!
Fair play to you nice sound out of it when you start up.
Have a look at some
of the latest vids, we've done some nice Will It Starts recently 👍
Totally dependable. Just like my old 3040 ; )
Simple engineering.
Great to hear it run even if it is green, if no one keeps looking after them there will be none left!
These things seem to go on and on.
Nice sharp "bark" off her now! Good job.
Yes it's fairly crisp !
Your neat little trick is pumping the oil up around the engine before you then go ahead and add diesel into the mix thus protecting the engine on start up, especially if the engine has been sat for a few days.
Very cool move and it also prevents premature death of a very stout engine.
Ah yes, it's something I always do if a machine has been stood for any length of time.
Runs like a top👍
Needs a bit of work to bed her in now.
Great video man
Hows it going Don ?
Very good job. As much as I like George's TW nothing beats the sound of JD 6 cyl.
Power delivery is so smooth with the JD
Happy Sunday to ya buddy!!👍👍
And to you ! have a great week and Stay Safe !
Howdie from NC . Glad to see the ok Deere
Paul drop me a line as I've got another flashlight here
Lord Muck drop me a line at paulcolborne15@gmail.com. Can't find your email address
You did lots of work with a lot of new parts. Lets here it run... okay, that's how you do it! Sounds great. You know what this means right? Time to start working the tractor!
I still want to do the fenders while I can and then the cab interior but yes, it's getting nearer...
That sounds sweet.
Very good of you to join us old boy !
Well done Lord
U can't beat the sound of a old Deere .
Yep that's true.
Keep an eye on the postbox this week...

Very cool Sir Muck..Double thumb's up to ya..
Take Care and Have a great week..
Hey Cynthia we missed you on Buckin's live feed !
Have a great week too !
Yes I know ,My horse farrier was here, and I was outside assisting him with my horses,I did watch the Video tho..Sound's like it was a great time for sure..
It was a real blast - especially the hippy dance !
I've been looking forward to this video since you posted the start up on snapchat, sounds sweet and smooth.
Just needs a bit of work now.
Lord Muck ps happy Lincolnshire day......you are from Lincolnshire right?
Not originally but here a lot these days ! So Happy Lincolnshire day !
Nice one LM, .....IMHO the older JD sixes took some beating - almost turbine smooth.
Keep on keeping on and take care.
Lovely smooth engines Mark.
Which to me, made them less tiring to drive - have you ever driven a Circa 1980 Ford 6600? .......that was one harsh 4 pot to sit behind for a shift? .......just hearing them working in a field put my teeth on edge, yet the larger 7600 4 pot was much better ??
...because it was turbo'd.

Good video muck she started well
Of course it did you plum - I was working on it...
Sounds really good Kurt, will you have to "run the engine in" seeing as it had new engine parts and the head gone through?
Yes Dan it's only done about 4 hours since the rebuild. However, using an old JD demonstrator drivers technique I'm going to run it for a day on gentle work, check the oil etc then hammer the bollocks off her on a plough or subsoiler !

I grew up with a Nuffield Universal Three and a County crawler !
Surprised at that, but to be fair, all good tractors eh! Just like cars, I don't like these 'computers on wheels'. Do the job, as long as they work.
Until I could plough with a crawler and drag plough, I wasn't allowed on anything modern.
I’m new to your channel thanks to George and Tim (cotontop3) and I’m going to enjoy watching all you previous videos.

You're always welcome Wes, just let me know when.
We all knew it would start my 3050 was parked for 4 years, put a good pair of batteries on and it went first time. Needs a new alternator now tho unfortunately.
I'd have been pretty p*ssed off if she hadn't fired up !
You just need to lose that front box thing for a proper base weight !.
Good job, she sounds nice
Just needs bedding in now Rob.
Any plans on what you will be using her on
I'll probably stick her to work on the track grader for a bit.
Just found your channel and enjoying your content. You sound like a good old Norfolk boy, takes one to know one, Sub you.
Do Well !
I gave you a 'Thumbs Up', but it would have been more entertaining on our end had you not bled the fuel system properly!
It fired a bit too quickly.
Oh well, I guess maybe I've witnessed too many the other way!
Nicely done.

Love those old Deere’s. Is the 3350 basically a 2950 with a few changes? The engine in the 3350 looks like the same one in a 2950.
Yes that's right ! We had the 30, 33 and 3650 (which had a turbo) and you guys had 29's etc.
That sounds cranky as hell, love it!! Keeping the lighting original or going for LEDs?
Gathered your torque setting was FT ;).
Keep up the good work mate, be seeing you! :)
No, original lights, everything was torqued to tits.
All lines connected up, fuel flowing and Plenty in the Tank Sir !
Lord Muck hah very good! Spice o'th week wouldn't be good chap.
She does sound nice, bet you can't wait to get her working.
great video what camera do you use?
That was the Sony HDX 450, no mic, just sat on a tripod.
Great video, Are you planning to respray the tractor?
Look me up on Instagram lordmuck4890 to keep up to date.
n1
🙏👍❤️😁🇨🇮
Shes Alive !
You can't keep a decent Deere down John !
What hp is a jd3350
103hp
Oh mate, sweet as a nut.
