      I use Evergreen sticker paper but it does also depend on your printer

    Hi, how do you get the two types of cuts in one run with the cricut for the sticker sheets? Cut type 1: fully through for actual sheets. Cut type 2: Kiss cut for sticker outlines

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Cut 1: this is where I duplicate the layer 3/4 times so that it cuts through
      Cut 2: Is only one layer
      All done on the same setting however by duplicating the layer ever cut goes deeper meaning it creates a clean cut

    I have a question.. if I don’t have canva pro. Can I use a shape from element like a clear square with another choice of color border over the image to create the sticker affect?

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 9 měsíci +1

      You wouldn't be able to get them with a transparent background. It would limit you to square, rectangle, and circular sizes

    I'm new to using a cutting machine and new to making sticker sheets on Canva. Can you tell me why you added a white background to the first page but then removed it from the 2nd page that was duplicated?

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 11 měsíci +3

      I do this so that I have two separate layers when it goes to design space

    Hello,
    I'm a newbie to all this. You said you deleted the background? Can you explain more about what you were referring to? I apologize.

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před rokem

      Hello,
      Within Canva you want to make your background and then a separate one with just the stickers so you have a background cut shape and then the individual stickers. I keep the background in Canva whilst organizing just to ensure it doesn't overlap. The background is the design with my logo and creating the round edges.
      Hope this helps :)

  • @atmosphaeraaa
    @atmosphaeraaa Před 4 měsíci

    On which image are you deleting the background? Like on the top one or the one you duplicated? :)

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 4 měsíci

      Delete the background on the top one where your actually sticker design is.

    • @atmosphaeraaa
      @atmosphaeraaa Před 4 měsíci

      @@chloemaycreations is that also where you would add a pattern for the background if you wanted one?

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 4 měsíci

      @@atmosphaeraaa your background design would need to be on page 2 not 1. I need to look into it but you may not be able to do curved edges like I have done on this one. I plan to do a video this month

    Any idea how I would go about creating a patterned background for my stickers? Thank you :)

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Do you want the whole background to have a pattern? If so you would add it to your background page on Canva. Just ensure you have a solid background behind the pattern so the machine knows cut the edge only. I shall make a video if you would like me to

      @@chloemaycreationsa video would be amazing. A patterned background on the entire page is exactly what I'm trying to achieve :)

    If your going to sell this online do you save the file as PDF Standard or PDF Print???

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 3 měsíci

      I would do them as transparent png files otherwise the cut lines won’t work as pdf doesn’t give you a transparent background option

  • @nadiavalentin2810
    @nadiavalentin2810 Před rokem

    At 4:50 why do you duplicate the background 3 times and then overlap them and group them?

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před rokem

      I do this as it ensure the sticker sheet cuts all the way through on the cut settings we have for kiss cut the actual stickers

    • @chloemaycreations
      @chloemaycreations  Před 2 měsíci +1

      On canva you could use the A4 template and size down in canva to suit what you need. I usually do 4 by 6 inches

    I followed your steps, but my cricut cut only the square around , don’t cut the stickers😩
