I heard this song for the first time only last year! I was blindly feeling my way in Rastafari and really needed the reggae music for strenght. And this song struck me because it is so ... this is what Rasta is (to me): abandon Babylon (being in it, but no longer belonging to it)! But moreover, this is Africa! The drum. When I am in church, Ethiopian Orthodox, that is what gets me out of my head and into feeling: the drum! And then I know this is where I need to be, and what I want to be: Africa. So this track was for me a revelation and a road sign - Bob Marley Rastaman! Thank you once again! Jah Bless!
