I had some home brews in bottles I drank 2 years after brewing and they were fantastic. As long as everything like you say is clean and sanitized good beer will be made . Cheers
Thanks, Mr Stoneyard! A long story short, a mate of mine rang me around Christmas time, shocked, telling me that he drank 12 year old Coopers lager that his brother had made just before a boating tragedy on the water where he and other family members died in 2011. Phil has allowed me to tell the story on video, which I will do in the near future. Coopers have also given me the thumbs up saying that they have no problem with drinking their beer for that long a period or even longer! I was amazed!!! 🍻
Making me regret giving away my kit. I gave it away because I didn't know how to use it and was pretty sure I needed to buy more things. Thanks for a great video.
Clear and consise instructions Moussa. Any plans to get into more advanced brewing techniques? I think i remember a conversation between yourself & Neil Eyre about advanced brewing. I bet you would nail it if you gave it a go.
Thanks Joe, yes there are! Hopefully, it will be in the not too distant future! I am currently working on three videos, one being rice wine, which is looking really good at the moment and should be released around June, July. All is going well! 🍻 🍻 🍻 Thanks Joe
Moussa! Nah then owd lad, great vid as usual! I would recommend a cork board under the front of the bucket as well it’s a bugger when it slides off the table! Many thanks for the name drop Joe! I’ve been trying to get Moussa to branch out into just using a different yeast other than the supplied one; the thing to remember when making beer, “brewers make wort, yeast makes beer!” Just by changing the yeast you can get a different result. That said I’m not sure which yeast would work well for a Canadian Blonde. Kviek yeasts are great at the higher temps, I think they used that when Moussa brewed with Bill last year on the all grain beer. Tomorrow morning I’ll be brewing a Citra hop IPA of my own recipe and using Wy1318 London Ale III yeast. Btw Moussa it looks like you’ve got a few beers on the go in the back corner of the kitchen…stocking up 😂😂? Have a great weekend lads!
😆 🤣 😂 yes, I have a few brews going on that you will see in the future. Kiviek yeast is very good, I used on the Coopers Australian Pale Ale video where I brewed up to 35° Celsius, and it turned out great! I am glad you guys are interested in seeing more advanced brewing, which is coming. Thanks, Neil, for the Citra IPA recipe, which I am happy to share on our community post? Are you okay with me doing so, Mr Eyre?
That is a really good question! Glass is always better to store brew or spirits in. However, Coopers plastic bottles are good quality, but after a period, maybe up to 10 years, they fail and need replacing, which I do. But, there are a couple of reasons that I am aware of why plastic is preferred over glass, which is; beginners who may potentially fail in making a good batch and the bottles explode. Plastic, per se, will just split instead of shattering. The same is for handling, if you drop it. Plus, they are much easier to store away when they are empty. There could be other reasons that I am unaware of, but I hope this helps you.

That's a shame, it is really easy and cost effective! 🍻
Enjoyed the video though I prefer coming over to drink the batch you've made.

A lot of time is spent in cleaning and sanitising , looking forward to the next tasting live chat!
Yes, and that is crucial for the final taste of the brew.
The next taste test live chat is going to be a beauty! 🍻 thanks Joseph

Absolutely my friend 🤓👍🏻
Hey mate wandering howl ong the brew will last in a plastic bottle vs glass
