Actually zimmers D played pretty well this game. We just had such a good offense it over powered them but Zims defense was excellent every year with cincy. Also, ochocinco was wired for sound and after that big hit he took he walked over to Marvin Lewis and asked him why Minnesota hits so hard and Lewis said cuz we’re a good team 😂😂

I am completely convinced that if Bountygate had not happened and the refs actually called the game fair, Favre, Rice, Peterson, and our Defense would have won us our first Superbowl. Period. It has been hard for me to still be a NFL fan after this year.
It was actually his poor bass blocking, but for whatever reason the stigma the media ran with was his "inability" to catch, but it was really 3rd down blocking that kept him off the field in obvious passing situations.

I just looked it up on NFL.com. In 09, the Vikings were #5 in offense and the Bengals were #4 in defense.
Yup, zimmer has the Bengals D top 5-10 every season he was there. Heck, Cincies D played pretty good this game too our offense was just even better.

Bengals were a hard hitting Zimmer defense. The whole team was very talented. Gave Vikings everything they could handle and Farve was hit hard.
