Wow. 32 years and I learn something new about this song.
That’s dedication right there, man! :) These days you can just copy the clip in Audacity and paste it, switch it to reverse and voila!

Just in time. One of his best originals, tied with all the other ones
Isn't this a parody of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven?
Aren’t all his songs parodies?
His parodies sound similar to the songs being parodied. This doesn't sound like Stairway, but nice catch on the reverse titles. Al has made a number of original songs, including my favorite, I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead.

Satan eats Cheez Whiz!!
When I was growing up, my grandma watched us in the summer while my mom and dad worked. Every day at 4 pm, she'd make us Cheez Whiz on crackers with Kool-Aid, and we'd watch Transformers and other cartoons for the next hour.
When you know, you know.
Why I came here
His original songs are very overlooked. Great band!
the best part is... the band on this album are still with him to this day (plus another keyboardist added in the early 90s!)
Al goes way back for me to when I heard his stuff on "The Dr. Demento show" as a teenager and I'm 61 now. Dang Al , we're getting old! I was a big fan especially when I heard "Another One Rides The Bus" as I had to rid the bus for loosing my driver's license AND I was a big Queen fan. A perfect storm of rock and humor for me at that time.
I've been a fan of Weird Al since I was a child in the 80's. My dad loved listening to his songs and I got hooked on his music then. Over the years Weird Al a legendary music artist with parodies better then the original song. Weird Al is on a pedestal of greatness all by himself that no one can conquer.

I'll never forget the time I was staying with my grandparents for a week and I thought my grandpa had left for the morning so I cranked it up on the stereo this song, about halfway through I hear a slamming door that was done to get my attention and there's my grandpa, this devout stoic Christian pretending he was ignoring the music LOL. He had a beautiful grand piano which I was waiting to hit the last note with!
Of all Weird Al's brilliant creations, this might be my single favorite, certainly in the top five. I especially love the wolf howl, the backward message, and the final piano chord. He probably doesn't perform this one live, but if he did, I like to imagine that he'd look super serious and dramatic while slamming his hands down on the piano keyboard there at the end of the song.
He's actually been doing it live on his latest tour.
I still sing, "🎶in 3-D🎶," when going to the movie theater.
Me too!
This is the most surprising song for me to listen at first, realizing me Al is not only parody performer but also a genius composer. It has passed over 30 years since I first listened, still this song is so fresh and amazing.

Dang, al is a musical and comedic genius. All his songs aged pretty well and i always chuckle once or twice whenever i listen to one.

Whenever i hear his voice I hear the character he played for the phineas and ferb spinoff milo murphys law and it’s beautiful
when i was like 9 years old i remember feeling like this song was so transgressive at the same time it was so funny, and so much fun. i'll always love that synth violin solo.
4:37 It's required by law that you have to turn the volume up all the way when you hear that.
Also, when I was little, I'd listen to this, (and hopefully this makes sense.) I'd look at en empty part of the room I was in, and, right when I heard that, I'd imagine someone suddenly appearing with a guitar, spinning really fast, like the Tazmanian Devil.

Al, you have been a part of my life your entire career. We had a group that gathered to listen to Dr. D every Sunday night. It was a ritual in which you starred. There was beer & wine, that wacky green tobacco, and when your first song of the night got played, we fed the cannibalistic fish.
I even had a nice rebellious jewish boyfriend who grew his boys haircut out to long locks just like yours to shock his parents. Pretty sure that's also why he dated a shiksa since we didn't last.
I still remember getting to see you live at the Topeka Center for the Performing Arts a few years back and worrying you'd cancel the show-but no-you carried on with it and all of us in the audience were grateful.
