I never heard of raisins in milk to replicate sweetened condensed milk. I am willing to try this, but I will probably use half and half, so it's a bit thicker, without arrowroot. Thanks!! Sounds much healthier than the store bought.
Mandarin orange chocolate. Try chocolate cherry. Or Pina colada. Pina colada mix without the alcohol. My husband made gourmet so there's so many flavors you all with different flavors
I wanted to get away from HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP so, I made My Coffee creamer with i can Sweetened Condensed milk, I can of Evaporated milk, I can of Coconut milk(i made the mistake of using GOYA and it had bits of coconut in it so...use a different brand without the bits. I also used some regular milk, and because I wanted something different in flavor, I used Butter flavoring, Rum flavoring, and some Maple flavoring, because it took that combo to get what I wanted. I like experimenting and TRY to keep it low on the cost size, (not always successful there).I've used Hazelnut, Butter Pecan so far, lol I'm not done experimenting yet!
To make a homemade sweetened condensed milk vs store bought. It’s not a thick as store bought condensed milk though. You could use the raisins for baking afterwards just keep in mind they were soaked so the extra liquid may or may not affect your recipe.

Ok first of all you dont measure your liquid in a dry measuring cup and second you dont leave your measuring spoons in the pot with it so close to the heat😳🙄
Don't be a pathetic internet bully. This isn't baking...it's a simple coffee creamer. The difference in a dry vs wet measure for something like this is negligible. Chill.

You could put those raisins in rice, with your new creamer, some milk and pumpkins spice or cinnamon and nutmeg. mmmmmm!

You do realize you're using dry measuring cups to measure the milk right? It's not going to be accurate because you didn't use a liquid measuring cup.

Any type of milk, a can of the scm, and the vanilla extract or whatever flavor you want. Shake and serve. Super easy.
