Satisfaction is motionaly emotional word which doesn't exist in reality. Life is about experiencing low and highs in Emotions.
To sum it up "Desire should always lead to an impeccable growth of an individual and also have a direct impact on the progress of the society ". If there is no desire that means you haven't found your passion yet. Education shouldn't be gauged upon the marks you he/she scored in the exam or test instead it must be evaluated based on the applicable knowledge you've acquired through it.
Material desires are like a regular job which may give temporary solutions but spiritual desires (not spiritual powers) like sthitha pragnatha, nishchalatatva, mukti is a permanent solution and from their the real or actual life begins where the garbage of mind ends and a new mind comes into being.

buddha said it's attachment that causes sorrow, not desire.
The fundamental philosophy of Buddhism is You desiring a car and earning money and finally buying it is good .
But attaching your happiness and identity leads to suffering.
Wonder why RGV couldn't really get what the intentions of Buddhism are!
In Buddha's sense, the desire for a specific outcome is when suffering arises. Attachment with the outcome of what we desire is the root cause of suffering. Also, buddha himself desired to know the actual truth about life and death. He didn't go to the bodhi tree just to get enlightenment but later the enlightenment came as an outcome due to the phenomenal process he kept to know the actual truth. But sadly these interpretations were not made in the interview.

😀😀😀😀😀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is one kind of understanding which is very much limited. This is called as materialism. I don't have material desires because they are limited and I clearly understand that they do not satisfy me. I don't have any desire for money and wealth at all but since I have a body and I need it going well, I need money for basic needs and some basic healthy comforts (I don't want AC and sofa because they are not healthy for me). I don't have desire for material worldly things including fame, money, wealth, buildings, cars, etc,. If I could say this, I have a strong desire (u may call it passion or anything) for the ultimate freedom which we call it Mukti. But the problem is I should not even have desire for Mukti because that desire itself is a hindrance. However, that is the strongest desire one can have on the planet.
This "Satisfaction" ramuism video is very much limited, especially it is misunderstanding of what great people like yogis, Buddha said about satisfaction. Actually the questions and context given by the anchor are wonderful.
I understand what you have said. But Ramu said very clearly that what you say can be an individual decision but cannot be endorsed as a way of life as is being by many public figures mostly gurus. Many of them contradict themselves by pursuing material and sensual desires

Everywhere there is corruption including spirituality in the form of some fake selfish gurus but there are many genuine yogis who did & are doing work for the welfare of the people at individual level and societal level. I only tried to gave more clarity & higher perspective about satisfaction. I'm not against technological growth in the world but against the dangers of it.
