Story time! Had a massive case of the insomnia one day and I played the first episode of this series. Passed out before Gabs could leave the bears home. I started waking up on this episode at a very awkward moment. Could have sworn I heard my sis say that my dog took a sh!t in her bathroom. Turns out it was Gabs at 1:55:01.
Hi! Just wanted to share some info: you can add windows to the rooms you have made from the top-left corner of your crafting panel when making a bedroom! I would feel stuffed if I find my room not well-ventilated😭😂
windows are not really that efficient though they don't add anything to a room and you could place a poster there for prestige or decoration points. It's really sad windows don't count as decoration.
Every single time the shark guy speaks I have instant flashbacks to Stray, after completing that game 100%, those robots are carved into my memory forever.
the concept of having some lower standard rooms in some motels reminds me of the concept of selling lower cost for more customers. In real life as an artist I find my clients are better after I raised my prices, while when they were lower I had clients try to make them cheaper, and they chose my work over other artists because of the price. Now I have higher paying clients that appreciate my worth and even tip me and return for more. But in the GAME it's all math and statistics, unless higher payers typically are more generous with reviews. I've found that a case working at a 4-star resort, the people that complain the most/review the worst are people that are paying discount prices. "i've payed 300 dollars for this room my entire experience should be perfect and I shouldn't have to pay for valet or tip anyone"/assume we are 5 star when in actuality that room is normally AT LEAST twice that price. While guests in the fancier more expensive rooms respect the workers better, are more patient and understanding, and tip.
I've also heard that about prices. If your prices are too low, you'll attract customers who will try to pay even less (or not at all). And people who value your work will be willing to pay a higher price for it.

I'm not done watching but I would make the kitchen and dining upstairs and keep the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. The kitchen wouldn't effect the bedrooms and the you might get away with 1 bathroom (to start at least)
Aw this kind of reminds me of Traveler's Rest (highly recommend btw though it is still in early access) but with exploration and more of a focus on decorating than crafting and stocking food/drink.

I made 20k by the 17th day but I have to always choose guests that don't have high requirements. I'd rather have larger rooms with high numbers so gus can just fill them and I can play the story without having to go back to each site every day. The days go by so fast that it takes up so much of my time.

the management is not too bad once you unlock remote access. you can manage stuff from anywhere and it makes it a lot easier.
