Their best bet is to keep an eye out during lead up to the season for cuts. If Zeke and his 2 yd runs are going to be the RB1…..it’s over before it begins. Dak CANNOT carry the team like some elite QBs can. Against the elite teams he disappears and falls apart even with help around him.
If you are saying Dak can’t carry the team in the playoffs I agree, but since you don’t specify that then this is a dumb comment. How do you win 36 games in the last 3 years but you say the qb didn’t play well against elite teams? So the 15 games they lost were against terrible teams and the 36 wins were against bottom teams.

Last years playoff loss to the Packers is no where near the fault of Dak. 38 points should be enough to win a game. Our defense was pathetic at best. Couldn’t stop a mid level college offense

I wish fans understood how little they know about the inner workings of winning championships vs. the people who actually work for your team. My job is not at The Star. I'm not at practices and film sessions. I'm not so full of myself that I think I know who to sign, for how much, who to trade/cut, what play to run, what defense to call...I gotta believe that they are doing their jobs every day just like I'm doing mine. I wish fans would stop being so hyper-critical about a job they know nothing about and just be a fan. Give your team as much positive energy as you can and let the chips fall. Championships are hard, they are not a birthright.

We went 12 an 5, past 3 seasons, including last season. Did you forget that Dak had a broken foot, and a broken thumb, surgically repaired in his throwing hand. Last season we had a new System. Mike Mcarthy's First year to run his own system. Yes we did get rid of Kellen more but we still had his same players and Philosophy. The Texas Coast System is a hood system. We can get the ball out quick but our receivers, Including CeeDee! Have to get open and not DROP! The ball at key moments when Dak gets him the ball. And finally, our "O" line couldn't half Blick or make holes for ar Backs. We had No running game and NO Run Scheme. That was our Downfall. The Packers knew it.

Actually they are better off than last year. For as little as we run the ball it's not gonna be successful with a mediocre line. They buffed the line so we will see. I'd take zeke over pollard everydown
