Hey beautiful. So question, I keep hearing to go with s corp better. The incfile option had something that mentioned it, but it was still llc. So do you think that's better? Thanks in advance.
Hey!!! I wouldn’t look at an S-Corp being better than an LLC. It’s for different phases of your business. If you have a clear plan to make over $40k profit, then an S-Corp is likely a good option. If you are just starting out, and don’t plan on making more than $40k in profit and LLC is a better option. Lastly, S-Corp is a tax status and not a business entity which means that you can have an LLC and taxes as an S-Corp. You can save on taxes if you have an S-Corp if you make enough money in the business to make the additional filing cost worth it.
I appreciate your insight. You stated that there is no cost associated (it’s free) with completing the operating agreement and EIN. Although I am aware of the EIN from the IRS site, how with regard to operational agreement?

Im curious about the order of operations when it comes to starting an LLC. Should I first secure the site/domain/business email, then trademark the business name/logo, then create the LLC? Or Create the LLC first? Or another order? Thanks
Hey!! You should first check to see if the name is available - check all social media pages, check domain, check existing trademarks.
@@DarcysBusiness thank you. I have read that some people start the LLC first so that they can file the trademark under the LLC name so that they don't have to switch the owner later from personal to LLC

But my gf and I recently decided to start something up together and we want it to be a Multi Member LLC
I went through biz file and i dont even see an option to add both of us to it
So im debating now on using one of these LLC formation services but still skeptical since id like to save money lol. What do u recommend??
Hey! If I were in a similar situation. If I was happy with the process and customer service of biz file, I’d go with them again. It makes things more difficult having businesses with different company.
Ya the process was easy just using Bizfile for straight from the Secretary Of State's government site. But I don't see any option or mention of multi members. Do you know if I'm just not seeing it properly? or is that an additional form that has to be filed after?@@DarcysBusiness

Would you do the same thing for formatting a foreign llc in another state. Personal address in Texas want to register business in Delaware.
Yes, I would go through the same process. The key is getting a virtual office in Delaware. But I would triple check an LLC in Delaware is better than one in Texas. I formed an LLC in both states and I would say that it’s nice that Texas has no annual fee whereas Delaware’s annual fee is $300.

Yes, you could get rocket lawyer’s free operating agreement and go with LegalZoom for your business formation. LegalZoom is a well established company. They are both good options

The paperwork needs to get filed. You can personally do it yourself or hire someone depending on your comfortability with the documents required of your state

@@devonmccarthy7802 Yes, so the state that you file your LLC requires you to file paperwork annually. For example, in Texas, I have to file the No franchise tax due report every year. Each state has some sort of paperwork requirement. What state are your planning on forming your business?

No, you should not use a PO Box. Banks will not accept it.
