- Today our ship the Norwegian Breakaway is docking in Roatan, Honduras and we are heading for what will be the BEST excursion I've done in Honduras! Real Deal Roatan Tours is taking us out for a massive adventure to do ziplining, hug, and interact with sloths, monkeys and birds, and more! We then head to a local chocolate shop to learn how chocolate is made in Honduras and sample some too. Finally, we got to taste some rum cake at the rum cake factory and check out the scenic overlook with a beautiful view of our ship! It was an absolutely AMAZING day in Roatan!

This day began a little bitter me finding out my uncle passing but you made it a fantastic day joining us for this fabulous Roatan Day. Loved it.
We were in roatan on the same day, we did sloths at the same sanctuary, great time at an amazing place. The journey makes you appreciate how important the tourist industry is to the island.

Like you said , you got to be one for a day and you definitely have the energy to do it and the amazing personality attitude as well . I absolutely love your videos, very informative. I loved the idea of bringing school items for the kids, helping the school out!! 🥰🥰 That was a awesome day exploring Roatan.
When we stopped at Roatan we went to the Gumbalimba Animal Sanctuary, it was amazing. Loved Roatan so we spent a week in West Bay last June and will be spending another week in West Bay this June.

I was on the bus with Mama Hocum. We had a great time. But I'm a little confused and slightly disappointed. We had to have been at a different chocolate place than you. I'm fairly positive of it. The one you stopped at with the cafe and everything looked great. Also, parts of our tour from our bus seemed rushed. For instance, the chocolate place, I didn't feel like I had much time at all to look around, certainly no time to sit and relax on a deck. Just quickly made a purchase and got back on the bus. We didn't go to that hilltops place either. I don't mean to be a sourpuss but it just seems like we were slightly short-changed, although, despite that, I had a fantastic time. And also, to be fair, it's possible that it's just my memory being fuzzy of the whole thing at this point in time. I did get a video of Mama H ziplining. I did send it to her. I hope you got a chance watch how brave and great she is.
Your video brought back some memories. I was in Roatan and did the same sloth and monkey sanctuary. You have to be careful of the sloths because their claws can scratch you and they will dig in and still smile in your face. Instead of zip line our tour went to west end beach. It was incredible and one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

I've been following a lot of the vloggers and it was wonderful seeing all of you together. I wish I was there. I'm going on the Getaway to the same places March of 2025. 🙂 I have to hand it to you! Seeing this ship and Roatan brings back memories of my last cruise in 2019 on this exact ship. We went to little French Key. That was a great cruise!
I’m surprised the busses got up the road to the shacks on top of the hill. We took a cab tour and he drove us up there. We didn’t get out of the cab.
The owner of real deal Roatan tours is the pastor of the church that we went to. I would say it anywhere. If you want to do an excursion in Roatan contact real deal Roatan tours and they were customize anything you’d want to do. They are awesome. It was also great to hang out with Josh for the whole day.
I had a sloths, zip line, and snorkel tour through Viator. The zip line part, I was the only person and being driven up to the start by the zip line folks I was worried as being alone. But it turned out great with no hurry and attention being the only one.
We went in December same stops and I can say I would do it again

Hi Josh, I was on the Vloggers Extravaganza cruise too. I wanted to give y'all a shout out for thinking of donations to St jude , and the school supplies in Roatan. It was a beautiful place, but the level of poverty was immense there. Nice work!

When we went to Roatan in Nov 2022 i could not believe how much trash was all over the place. They really need to clean that place up.

What was the name of the tour you did was it independent.
Josh Melody and I have done it. We have started our own CZcams channel. Melody had a great time zip lining with you. If you are I don’t know Melody is my wife and she is totally blind but she loves to have great adventures.
