    This was a super helpful video!
    I would love to see a breakdown on finishing through contact because as a slashing guard this is an area I need to work on.
    Great video, coach!

    This is a fantastic video. Something I will probably use just as a little extra drill to put a little more work in. I think this will really help me improve though

    How exactly do you get that spin on the ball? By rotating your hand or flicking your wrist or some other way?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Před 7 lety +9

      Rotating and flicking your wrist and letting the ball roll off of your fingers. Kinda like spinning a bowling ball if you're familiar with that.

    hi coach good job again
    how do you exactly finish in the rim? like in one-on-ones i always have a hard time finishing or in fastbreaks. i got to gym and worked on my core so i learned how to be an acrobat but its very tiring. how do people finish in the rim so easily like they knew how the defense would act or theres no defense at all
    ty

      Simple. PRACTICE and a lot of it. The reasons the pros make it look easy are the hours and hours they put in daily working on their craft.

      wait how do you practice it? do some floaters a hundred times? finish with left and right hand a hundred times? how

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Před 7 lety

      Yes, you already know what to do. We have a ton of NBA level videos. Whatever you want to get good at practice those things. Being a great player is also about making decisions, right? So I'm not going to answer every single question in full detail because you need to be a problem solver and critical thinker. Make sense?

    How many minutes should we do this drill how often and how long would it take to get that English at the high school level

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Před 7 lety

      You can do it every day for a few mins. You should see improvement within days and if you continue working the drill you can start seeing it pay off in gameplay. Your confidence should increase and you'll instinctively use these types of finishes.
