Welcome to Dimash. Dip of the iceberg. He is fluent in his native Kazakh, as well as Russian with English becoming a third with a little Mandarin thrown in for good measure. That being said he sings in many languages and genres. He composes music, he acts, he plays multiple instruments, he dances sometimes and even raps. To be honest I don't think I ever heard a better singer than him. I never thought that talent could be so attractive
He is singlehandedly overwriting what is possible for a single human voice but he himself is saying only 1% is talent the rest is hard work (he is classically trained since age 5 and still working). He explores his artistic possibilities and goes his own artistic way mostly outside the mainstream music industry. His fans - his Dears as he calls them - range from kids to 90 years old from litteraly all over the world. The reason is, as stunning his voice is his fans love him because of the gentle, respectful, hard working and thoughtful young man behind the voice. I follow him since a couple of months after his breakthrough in 2017 and somehow he manages to astonish you again and again with every single new song. You haven't seen anything yet😉
