Rafał Blechacz - Childhood Performance Clips Compilation

- We all start somewhere, and Mr. Blechacz is no exception. Like many great musicians, he was a child prodigy, and these short clips of him performing in his youth provide us a glimpse of his astounding potential then.
The clips are all segments from TVP's videos, while the photo is courtesy of Państwowy Zespół Szkół Muzycznych im. Artura Rubinsteina w Bydgoszczy, from when Mr. Blechacz won first prize at the "International Piano Competition in Gorzów Wlkp.".

Wow, thanks for sharing this rare find! I remember seeing a childhood/youth clip of him playing the op53 Polonaise. It was aired during the Chopin Competition 2005 but that's all I remember.

REALLY?! Now I'm envious😙. I feel like TVP has a treasure trove of Mr. Blechacz' past videos. Hopefully they'll share more with us in the future, or maybe I'll get lucky and find more?

@@r.blechaczradio Yeah, the clip that was shown was very very short though (5-10 seconds maybe). Not sure how old he was, but my guess is early teens.
