@@MonsterCody24 it wouldn't be recommended by the manufacturer, but here is my answer. I have built plenty of these and I believe it shouldn't mess with the structural of it. If you want to remove that one peice then I would cut it out and then fit another piece you would have to cut to size up a little higher and screw it from the sides to keep the structural support.
Any thoughts on cutting that plank right above the circular slide? My daughter hits her head on it all the time but it's all one framed piece.
