Good quality, Frank must have made it. :)
Copper isn't cheap, I'll get one when I get gear that needs it.👍Thanks for gutting it, the only way to see if its good or not.🖐😎

That's what I was thinking! This thing is strong. This one I have used for a few years without a problem, but to be honest, it would be hard to have a problem with one of these things.

I also have two of these.
One in the shack, one for portable.
    Small, lightweight and rock solid.

    Hi Steve,
Nice review. Shame you couldn't remove the circuit board. What amp do you need to repair? You and the family stay safe. 73 WJ3U

Aloha Steve, Great review! I was praying that you wouldn’t break that circuit board while trying to remove it. I will look on eBay to see if they carry it. I don’t have Amazon Prime, so I must order everything on eBay due to all the shipping issues to Hawaii.
I love the way you take things apart, gives us hope that repairs are possible.

Being able to repair things is important to me. Even if I don't know how... yet.

Are the power poles authentic Anderson, or Chinese knock offs?

Lets see you doing RTTY, packet or SSTV on your home computers. Far more interesting. G7VFY

I did quite a bit of SSTV, I still have to try RTTY and I have a packet modem for the commodore 64. That will be a lot of fun!
