I’m not a religious person, I think all religion is mostly a tool to manipulate others, trying to have a connection with God isn’t bad. But I feel that Jidion fell down a rabbit-hole where he fears that he might not be good enough for ‘heaven’ so he’s doing all of this when it isn’t necessary. It just doesn’t seem genuine it seems more like he feels that he needs to do this or else he’ll suffer eternally.
