nice work, i like your M54 rebuilding videos. any cast iron sleeves used when boring the block? since the factory spec for tolerance between piston and cylinder is 0.15mm, i was thinking it was ok to hone the bores without reboring. i should me stripping down my engine mileage 142K km and will be doing the same measuring.

Nice build the gentlemen, did you balance the rotation assemble (crank, rods and new pistons) or it's unnecessary?. The reason I'm asking is that I'm building s stroker m20 2.9, so im not sure if I should balance my assembly or not

great content, thanks for documenting the process! have you dyno-ed the engine yet? maybe the new pistons and conrods will allow higher redline than stock, and more than 230hp hopefully

What about the pistin rings? Are you using the m54b30 ones or combination of m52 oil ring and m54b30 compr rings? Great content, keep it up 😉

Any particular reason you chose to reuse the stock con rods?
I have the same amp44 pistons sitting on my bench. I’m trying to decide between aftermarket rods or stock. Thanks!

Hello sean! We don't see a point of changing the conrods, especially with the setup that this car is going to run. If you planning to go with some higher boost, then you will need to change them for sure

Да магнит е, за да го фиксираш някъде. В някой случай, ако няма къде да го закача на удобно място (алуминиев блок), ако има човек наоколо го карам да го придържа
