I have to admit you were very smart buying up that radiant Charizard when it dropped to $6. Then grading them for $15 a piece That is currently one of my plays, whenever I get the money. I'm waiting for it to drop back down a little more. Currently you can buy it for $35 in a PSA 10. That card in about 10 years will be probably around $80 in a PSA 10. So each one you could potentially profit $59.
yes it was a nice card to target since it was from a newer set and also its a shining charizard as well. Definitely a must add to any charizard collection.
yes, buying singles is always the way. you should carefully inspect the card before purchasing though, however. this might require some skill. opening sealed is mainly a gamble, and with the prices mostly going down after a set is released, you tend you lose more money that way.
I have this theory of just putting all 9’s outta sight and outta mind so I can still make money later when it’s worth more. Haven’t done it yet, finally sent a big sub and expecting a few 9’s so we’ll see if I can do that😂 I have personal hatred for off center cards or anything that’s not a 10. Damage and off centering specially just ruins the look of the card for me so much
yeah sometimes 9s are okay to keep, but i generally sell them off since its better to stay liquid. i think later on, psa 9 zards are still going to be sought after since people will collect 9s instead of 10s (since the expensive ones are very out of reach)
Good luck! I sent off a recent buy as well. And getting some back from psa probably in the next two weeks too. For some reason it seemed like all progress stopped at psa. One of my bulk orders was in “grading” for two months
