Make sure to check and also spray both sides of the leaves and not just top. I hope this helps and thanks again!

    Awesome video, but I have one advice as a fellow pepper grower, from my experience it is better to separate peppers earlier in the seedling stage before they entangle their roots with other seedlings, this can make a significant difference in early grow specialy in hot peppers that are harder to grow, I find if I do this my pepper plants are twice as big as yours at 4 weeks

    I love how thorough you are when explaining. Can you please do a video on lavender from seeds? I have found them to be very difficult to germinate.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Před 2 lety +15

      So glad that you love my videos. Actually I have started some lavender but since it is a perennial, the video won't be ready soon. The key to germinate lavender seeds is the light. Cover seeds very very lightly and provide a strong light source. Seeds are very slow to germinate and might take up to 4 weeks, so be patient. Also, try not to overwater them, you just need to keep seed soil moist, but not soggy. I hope this helps and thank you very much for your comment!

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  Před 2 lety +5

      @@Legend-sl9bn The key in germinating pepper seeds is temperature. You have to keep the soil warm at 70F to 80F. Also make sure your seeds are not old. Old seeds have harder shells and water cannot penetrate to germinate. I hope this helps and thanks for visiting!

      @@TowardGarden 🫑👀**UPDATE** 😄 as of today, my sweet bell pepper plant 🫑 is 15 inches tall, it has branched out significantly and yields 60 flower buds!!!!!! There are 12 flowers blooming right now, 3 fell off :( and I just learned about self pollination. I moved my pepper plant indoor due to weather dropping to 40 F at night. So now, I need to self-pollinate or shake it.

    Very good video. Most viewers want to see the whole process from start to finish but most videos just show one step or another. This is a very valuable video as far as I am concerned.
    One suggestion though, it may help viewers even more if you let us know what USDA zone you are in and when in the year that you did each of these steps. Thanks again for putting this pepper gem together.

Just a quick note that my videos are being watched in many different countries and not just US, so the USDA don't apply to them. USDA zones are just a bureaucratic way to say your minimum temperature in a normal winter. And winter minimum is generally not relevent to growing annuals.(Or perennials as annuals such as these chiles.)
