In this video we look at the entire timeline of Maude Flanders from The Simpsons. We look at Maude's entire life story, her past and future. Taking a look at the full Simpsons episodes, I've put Maude's life in chronological order. From season 1 to the newest Simpsons season. I go into Maude and Ned Flander's marriage, and being a mother to Rod and Todd.
We also look at the funniest Simpsons moments from Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. As well as other Simpsons characters from Springfield.

The saddest thing about Maude is that her character was killed off bc the VA asked for better treatment and fair pay.

That’s not true, the VA Maggie Roswell moved from LA to Denver and she wanted more money for travel costs.
She made a deal with fox that she could record the lines from her home and returned to the show in 2002. If they really treated her so terribly why would she agree to return?

I think in the long term Maude dying did open up more storylines with Ned. That said the funeral speech "She was a supporting character in our lives" was a cheeky fourth-wall break.

I felt that killing off Maude made a lot of interesting stories about Ned and his sons. Had Maude never died Ned would've never married Edna. And the boys would've been still been sheltered to the point of not surviving in the real world.
You failed to mention Homer’s car blocked the ambulance from getting to Maude. No one remembers that. Side point, Didn’t Maude with the pretzel episode bring in the Yakuza to fight the Mafia. I want to know how did she get those connections. Was Ned selling left handed gloves to them because their fingers kept being chopped off on their right hands.

Yes Maude is shown at Lisa's wedding but as you pointed out timelines can be played with. Especially considering the different factors that play each episode could affect her being there. Meaning in the time line where she was at the wedding she never died, but once Homer caused her death if we replay that seen she would not be there.

I couldn't believe that Todd's middle name is Homer when I saw that episode. I've noticed that Ned never brings it up about Todd's middle name or even have Nee complain about it. It's just forgotten about after that episode. Also, I feel that Maude was wayyy NOT into church as much as Ned was and she was just going along with Ned and has a secret freaky side that isn't really discussed.
I didn't mind Maude, she had her good sides, but yeah it seemed like Ned was more of the good samaritan than her in many cases, and their marriage wasn't as perfect, when you think of it. And yes maybe Fox/the creators thought Maude had to die for Ned to grow(from mostly happy go lucky rightious christian to taking more risks) and maybe for her to get a bit more interesting too.
Maude only died because the voice actor didn’t like flying back and forth every day.

Oh, how about Ned and Ruth? I feel like they wouldn’t be a bad pair, and it would be a reason to have Ruth be more present in the show like she was years ago. Plus, I really like the dynamic she has with Marge, Since she is the only woman in town who is actually a good friend to Marge.
Yeah, she was pretty attractive if you put other women characters next to her for comparison then yeah, she was good. Plus, I'm fully convinced that Maude had a frêæky side just like Helen Lovejoy.

If Maude had never died, one of my favorite relationship pairs in the show would never have come to be; that being Ned and Edna. Although, I would kind of like to see Ned and Rachel give one more attempt, but really, I just want them to find somebody else for him. Yet another reason Marcia Wallace’s passing is as sad as it is.
When Maude didn't return in the next episode and then the next series I realized oh shit I think this is actually permanent and I remember being so sad cause Maude was one of my favorite characters

Maude Flanders was a sociopath, there were episodes where she was making a pass at Homer knowing that he's a married man, diminishing Ned's feelings and being a toxic friend to Marge Simpson.
That is maybe why she became a demon in the afterlife 🤨
it'd be a bit of a stretch to refer to her as a sociopath, but yeah she's a pretty terrible person
The moments that were heartbreaking in the Simpsons were Bleeding Gums Murphy’s and Maude’s death and the funniest moment were when Homer sells his soul for donuts, Bart hitting Homer with a chair and Ned Flanders snapping
Another sad moment was when Ms krabappel died

While I was sad at her Death, I wasn't too big on Maude as she hid a very nasty low key hostility towards Homer- though sometimes justified at times. She just reminded me of another Helen Lovejoy but more persnickity.

In fladders ladder when we see in to the future and see Marge and Flanders married we get to see there wedding photo but her hair doesn't match up with other future simpsons episodes were Marge is still with Homer. PLEASE look in to it.

I really didn't much about Maude she's seemed nice mother to Rodd and Todd and husband to Flanders. But In the episode she died getting Hot dogs really summed it up her. Then Ned dates Ms. Krabappel
I personally prefer Ned and Edna being together. To be honest with you, I was never really a fan of Maude Flanders. I felt that she was a very judgmental Christian. I felt she wasn't truly who she really was. I honestly think her being with the devil and haunting Springfield is who she truly is. I will forever cherish Ned and Edna being together, they just worked. Ned was a sweet man that Edna wanted. Edna was a tough woman who did not take crap from no one. That's how Ned was able to stand up to Homer and get his stuff back, funny moment. The duo just worked.😍 Thanks for sharing this video. I always love your content ❤️✌🏾😎
She seemed to have a bittersweet relationship with Marge, I would have liked to see her more in the show.

Although, Maude also shows disdain for Homer when he unveils his plan to Bart to turn Duncan/"Furious D" into a full-blown badass of a racehorse by acting like "The Horse Whisperer" and wants to try to seduce Maude, to which she shuts the blinds on him.
The next episode was "Alone Again, Natura-Diddly".
There's also the episode where Homer develops an unhealthy attachment to Ned in which the Flanders family tries to outrun Homer in a "Terminator 2" parody.

I think I've suggested this before on a comment to a different Simpsons Theory but perhaps Maude was married to the devil in that one story in recognition of the Tree House of Horror story where Ned was the Devil.
The fact that Ned is also in the scene with the devil and Maude as Mrs. Devil means nothing after all the devil should have no trouble appearing to be in two places at once with all the dark powers he commands. 🤘

Honestly i didn't notice, but i'm glad she's not just right religious woman who doesn't do anything bad. She's a little meh sometimes as a person and that's what makes her interesting. I especially like that she returned for revenge, in that episode she looks completely different than her usual self.

The Flanders chose to sit in the back row of the race track with no protective backing on their own free will, The Flanders knew The Simpsons were sitting in front of them, Maude knew the t-shirt guns were going off, Maude knew Homer wanted one, Maude knew Homer is an idiot, Maude knew the t-shirt guns were going off when she left to get the food and would’ve still seen them going off when returning back, would’ve seen Homer still wanting a t-shirt and none of the food was blocking her sight to get back to her seat. And yet despite all of this, she ignores her surroundings, still gets hit and dies.
The contractor from Clerks in regards to the uncompleted Death Star from Return of the Jedi put it best “Any contractor, working on that Death Star, knew the risk involved. They get killed, it’s their own fault.”
Homer Simpson didn’t kill Maude Flanders, Maude Flanders killed Maude Flanders.
What a coincidence that this comes out and I watch it just a little after I saw a new video by Dark Simpsons involving a pretty horrible fate for the Flanders

@@mrsentimental1995 many characters have many deadly sins but in my opinion Lisa is Envy on the perspective that she just doesn't like it when people are better than her at what she's good at like for example Meg in The Simpsons Guy that she actually have great music talents but Lisa was jealous of that or Bart being a double agent activist for a girls group that she doesn't approve of because of the Itchy and Scratchy scandle

Maude's death affected Ned so bad he became "the most unbeatable wrestler in the world"! If you pick Ned in "The Simpsons Wrestling" (released for the PS1 in 2001, a year after Maude's death), you will easily win every match, thanks to his "lightning attacks"!
