    When you used it on your PC did you plug it in via USB? If so does it have/support the creative control panel? I want this for my living room and my micro ITX that’s in my living room for older games and, if you remember, a lot of older games supported EAX so the only way to get it now is if you use a creative sound card and the creative alchemy software.
    So to boil it down. Does this support creative alchemy when hooked up through usb ?

    Anyone know if this soundbar supports volume control from the TV directly (HDMI CEC) or do I have to always use the soundbar's own remote for that?
    Also, does it turn on and off automatically with the TV? These are pretty basic soundbar features, but for some reason they doesn't show up in any of the published specs, at least that I can find.

      @TechNuovo Před 3 lety +1

      I'm currently using this soundbar with my Hisense Q7, and yes, I can confirm volume control works with my TV remote. However, power is still relied on using the Creative remote with my TV. I can't confirm for others I'm afraid as I don't have any more TVs laying around here. But it's not a huge problem for me. Stick on a film, set it to TV source using the Creative remote and change the volume with the TV remote.

      I've not had any hands on experience with the SA D40, but because of its separate speaker setup, surround sound might be better, rather than all sound coming from the front of the room with the Stage V2.

      True. If you've got virtual 7.1 in your headset, the separation during gameplay will be much better than this. But if you're going to be sitting back, relaxing while watching some Netflix, then it's a great addition to the desk.

      Not sure why it wouldn't already be compatible with a PS5. It doesn't connect directly to the console it connects to your TV. Use the HDMI ARC from the soundbar to your TV. Use one of the TVs other HDMI inputs for the PS5. Sound will go from the PS5 to the TV then to the soundbar through ARC.
