OK so Shoshana Bean is just phenomenal!! I mean there is no other singer in the world better than her (full disclosure, I haven't heard every other singer in the world), LOL!! She is just pure light and magic when she sings! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Wow! This is superb! For me, its reminiscent of the Judy/Barbra duet from the 60s that is to this day perhaps my very favorite duet performance. Timeless, like all Shoshana's work! Breath taking, really...gonna dry my face and go back for a second listen! But before I do that... I wanna say thank you to you, whoever you are, that owns this channel. Second only to Shoshana's, I'm so grateful for finding it. Her voice has literally changed my life...words I don't use lightly. Hearing her voice awakened something in me that I didn't really even know had gone silent, paralyzed by fear and the complacency I allowed it to cause. For whatever reason, I respond to her sound in a way I can hardly understand, much less articulate. I guess I will just have to hope you know what I mean, but please know I'm so grateful for your posts. I'm so excited...I bought my ticket for her StageIt show last night - it's the day before my birthday. I had such dread about my birthday for so many reasons. I'm so grateful that "the stars aligned" or whatever, bc this gave me a reason...just like hearing her did. It really is about something higher than the notes she sings, even though they are impressive to say the least! I am reacquainted with a desire to get up and live, to look forward to my birthday, to feel the fire burning in my belly, to let the music play. That's what had happened in my life...the music stopped. I dont know who you are, but if you dont already have a ticket to the show and want one, I'd love to purchase it for you, while it's still available, as a token of my gratitude for your contribution to my awakening. I realize you couldn't have known how you'd help, but that doesnt make it any less helpful...in fact, it may have been the reason it's been so impactful. I've started writing several comments to you expressing these things and have always changed my mind before I could finish. Not today! Today, in the spirit of my favorite Shoshana track...i know I'm just a seed that needed water to grow up from ground..and it's gonna keep getting harder [and luckily,] my hunger more profound. (Please tell me you get the reference! Lol) I'm sure you're quite capable of purchasing your own ticket, but the gesture isnt about that, or maybe you already have one or dont even want one. OMG! First of all thank you for your beautiful comment. I am not a musician but it is amazing I know what you are talking about. I loved music and did not realize it had been missing in my life, until Shoshana. I had stopped listening to music! Her love of music helped me falll back in love with music. But it isn't just her voice. It is her heart, compassion, passion, respect for others and more that I love about her. That is the reason I was able to receive the message and fall back in love with music which really brought positivity to my life again. I could go on and on but I want you to know that, yes, I understand what you are speaking on, and thank you. I do have a stageit ticket but you can use the one for me for someone hitchhiking if you would like. I will also be tuning in for her Beaverton High School Concert in 2 weeks and I'll be listening to her new interview this morning. I'm so ecxited!!!!! 😀 Thank you again. @@ALW2019 I thought about your suggestion long and hard about buying a ticket for the hitch hiker. I could've just simply quietly done that, but I wanted to parlay it into something with a little more impact since I didnt get to purchase your ticket. I decided to wait until just before the show, and I went in and offered the ticket to the first person to respond and encouraged others who could to do the same. Exactly what I thought would happen happened, and folks stepped up. For me, it kinda set the tone...for my experience anyway. So, it all worked toward the greater good that you already had a ticket. Several people who wouldnt have otherwise been able to see it live were able to, and more money was raised...you know, the whole point! Lol Good stuff. and there you have it..a perfect example of the chain reaction of authentic gratitude. :) Again, thank you!
