This is our FIRST time checking out ANYTHING from V, and dang, this was the last thing we expected to hear from him. Absolutely incredible. We should've learned our miscalculating brains with J-Hope's songs (Arson and More); well, we didn't. NOW we have.

What was your initial reaction to Love Me Again?!
😲😲😲 Was my first reaction to this song although I already knew what kind of style it would be. He worked with NEW JEANS'es executive producer for this album.
It's an amazing song, you guys are going to like Rainy Days as well. I read down below someone suggested SINGULARITY and STIGMA (live version is even better). He's voice is amazing. It's different from the rest. Like, this is really really good. I was kind of getting bored of the same thing in K-Pop, I feel like somehow the voices all sound alike, but this is on another level. It's amazing. V is something else. I can't wait for his album to come out on September 8th!

V’s solo’s are all R&B, neosoul, jazz genres. Singularity is his neosoul song, stigma is R&B with jazz feel, Snowflower is jazz/blues just to name a few. This song has always been in his wheel house.
I really enjoyed your reaction and your comments describing the vocals and instrumentals etc. For me this was a beautiful, poignant song that really touched me both musically and stylistically. Tae as always is also dazzlingly pretty. Taehyungie has a really wide musical spectrum and has always listened to various genre’s from trot, acoustic, to classical music, to jazz, to pop/hip hop to rock and R&B… his musical heroes are all also varied, from Chet Baker, to John legend, Lady Gaga, to Eta James and Bing Crosby to Korean Trot legends etc… his recommendations over the years have all also been varied with no one set genre… so it’s always hard to box Tae into one style… but Acoustic, Jazz & R&B have also always been a mainstay. Namjoon even commented that Tae listens to much more music than he does… so I think Taehyung is just a music lover. I also feel that playing the saxophone for three years before becoming a trainee and also living with his grandparents for more than 15 years meant he was exposed to a wide style of music too. Once again thanks for this reaction and really look forward to your Rainy Day’s reaction. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
P.s if you get a chance Tae’s solo’s as part of BTS: Stigma, Singularity, Inner Child and his solos under his own name: Sweet Night, Scenery, Winter Bear, Christmas Tree (not a Christmas song), Snowflower ft. Peakboy are all so so worth checking out… as are his unreleased songs which he shared with us but deleted… ‘Travel with me’ being one… are all unbelievably good. The common theme of them is beautifully written lyrics, wonderful instrumentation and songs that touch the soul, and the heart.
V is a baritone and he's gonna give us rmb and jazzy vibes 🫶🏻soon his album is coming on 8th September

Kim Taehyung is the one member that could go across many genres of music. His voice is so versatile. Imagine him singing "Iris" by the Googoo Dolls, Wicked Games by Chris Isaak, or anything by Prince, or any rnb ballad. Mind you, he had also showcased his hard rock/metal voice during live performances in earlier days (pls look for Japan Epilogue 2016 concert, esp the Attack on Bangtan and Jump songs- he was on fire!) . He has also the chops to do jazz standards. For me, I'd love for him to do a collab with Teddy Swims. What if they make a "Lose control" type of song? ahh, that'd be a total wet dream.. Bluesy, jazz, and soul.. 🥰☺
