God this is my father to a letter. Old poor boy who had nothing and made something of himself. Tough Love
Alabama you all are so luck to have him.
Please send him to Miami 😢.

This was one of those games where other fans see Alabama fans complaining and they look at the score and think we're crazy. The score is meaningless sometimes. If you see tons of mental errors, physical errors and an overall lack of motivation on some of the players, it's aggravating to see! We all know they're better than that. We all know what they're capable of and today's team wasn't following Saban's process! Bama fans who have been here through all of Saban's career as coach, we've learned all the things Nick Saban expects of his players so when they're not meeting those expectations we can tell.

There was no sense of urgency, and anyone who's watched the Tide play for more than a few years (+45 year Bama fan here) but particularly in the Saban era knows exactly what you're saying. Doing things the right way becomes a habit, habits become behaviors etc.... Yeah, the Tide players knew that Mercer didn't have near the talent they did, but you can't play that way. The Tide gets Florida next, and they have closer to the level of players Bama does. Being complacent in one game can carry over to other games, and that's how losses happen, even when you have one of if not thee most talent rich team in the country.
The upside is, Coach Saban will get their attention in the upcoming week of practice.....I'm sure of that.

A great coach. He should not have to play against a division 1aa school . It does not impress the football fans to see a great team having such a mismatch. The hardest part for a coach is to motivate his players for such a game.

How many times is he going to get frustrated for passing on the 1 yard line? Get a new OC this off season and we can all be less frustrated. Aight?

I’m sorry and I think Saban is the greatest coach ever, but you had a dad. 75% of the players he coaches never had one.

Thats why he is trying to instill that discipline and accountability into his players. He is/was a father figure for many of his players
