      Could possibly be that he uses a light string gauge. But with how thick that tone is, I can’t be sure.

      @@thephoenix7891 he usually uses 11-56 or 12 gauge strings ! He just has incredible hand/ finger strength

    Call me the devils advocate here. His playing, and also singing are impeccable but, his compositions are lacking. Everything is there, except for the creativity. I just get more of an updated SRV playing style, without the SRV soul from this fella.

      That's because his writing style is blues based. Once he adds more rock in to his compositions that opens the door for more elaborate melodies and guitar solos. He is great but I see your point.
