Hotteterre always seems to surprise me with his beautiful and interesting baroque pieces. Nice work!

That's the reason I love Palanca flutes.

harpsichord and baroqu flute are the best duet ever or even solo flr that matter. your music lifted my spirits. i like major music hotteterre is the best flutist. i play piano well but my heart aches to be a harpsichordist and baroque flutist... just aches to be what u already are. i dont like classical music after bach or hotteterre or much before either. the baroque style is the only classical with a good heart. its neverending joy to my soul. minor and mysterious for.... a second..... before resounding with a total hopefulness. never stop your music. in the future i hope to be like you

    Beautiful Playing!
I also like very much the set-up and the acoustic in the stone-sculpture room.

You really get the spirit of this marvellous music: well done! (and congratulations for getting to the low C in the prelude ;-))

    Thank you! :)
    I think this low C was rather a D. :)

My mistake! At the end of the prélude, the last note is a middle C which you play so softly that I heard a low C, hence my surprise. I know of a few places in de la Barre and Couperin where you have to play a low C sharp by "bending down" from low D, which I find already pretty difficult (except on a Quantz flute).
Anyway, I very much like your rendition of this hauntingly beautiful music. :-)

Thank you for sharing nice performances of yours! The Delusse is also beautiful. Would you tell us more about your flute too? Model, maker etc? Martin Lot, or Delusse?

Thanks for the compliments! It is a Palanca flute by Martin Wenner. It is not the most authentic for this music, but it is a really good instrument.

Very nicely played, only, i'd like a slightly more subtle, mysterious approach towards baroque flute dynamics. But that's only my taste, not criticism!
