  • Harris Communications is proud to offer Sonic Alert’s HomeAware alerting system: www.harriscomm....
For over forty years, the deaf and hard of hearing have counted on Sonic Alert to alert them to life’s household alerts and lifesaving alarms.
HomeAware is the first complete home alerting system to have virtually unlimited range, with up to a thousand feet between a transmitter and Main Unit. Additional receivers can be added to extend the range by a thousand feet per receiver for whole house coverage.
HomeAware uses transmitters and receivers to alert you to doorbells, phone calls and FaceTime requests, baby cries, kitchen timers, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It can even be tied to your home security system and weather radio. You will be alerted with an extra-loud alarm, powerful bed shaker, flashing light, and large scrolling message.
You’ll never have to worry about sleeping through a lifesaving alert.
HomeAware features digital-RF technology - the safest, most reliable method of sending and receiving a wireless signal. An internal battery backup provides up to seventy-two hours of continuous backup, the longest of any system of its type.
HomeAware will bring you peace of mind.
    HomeAware is easy to use.
Simply plug in the master unit and pair it to the transmitters. Add additional receivers to be alerted throughout your home.
An optional smartphone transmitter/receiver lets you use your Android or iOS compatible smartphone as a transmitter and receiver. You’ll be alerted as long as you’re within Bluetooth range of the master unit. The master unit also will alert you to calls and texts with scrolling text.
To make your HomeAware affordable, you can purchase transmitters and receivers separately, expanding over time. We also offer money-saving kits and financing.
If you own a traditional Sonic Alert signaling system, HomeAware will work with your existing receivers with the purchase of a SonicBridge. The Sonic Bridge links your existing receivers to the HomeAware main unit. If a HomeAware transmitter sends a signal to the main unit, it activates your existing receivers.
Shopping for alerting systems can be confusing. The helpful experts at Harris Communications help you select the right products.
