Lol right! I've watched her for years and learned sooooo much. Now, she can use all points of grip, including armpits and knees, to hold items and a camera while holding Laurel 😂 she even manages to keep Laurel from getting a hold of stuff which in my opinion is SUPER MOM 🥰

Goodwill will break it anyway when they clear the shelves.
The Hagen Renakers brought back so many memories! I remember as a kid, seeing them lined up in the window of the mom and pop hardware store and I would stare at them and admire them. I saved up my allowance to get a cocker spaniel one. It took a long time (it was $5 and my allowance was 50 cents a week). But I did it!
Loved that you didn't edit out the vase breakage. Happens to a lot of people and great that you showed it can happen to anyone. Favorite time of day is when I go online & see a new video from you is up, woohoo!

I live in Carlisle Cumbria England and we have a wildlife centre, in the summer you can see the dragonflies hatch from the water, it takes 2 years for them to hatch. I love all the different colours
it take 1-5 weeks for a dragon fly to hatch not 2 years,

Do you have a Hobby Lobby near you? They have oxidized frogs like you were looking at. They have so many pottery pieces that look old. So many things there are made to look old. I go there to get an idea of what they are selling, so I don't pick uo something at thrift stores thinking it's old. Nice score on the animals. ❤

Love all the little dog figurines. I have some old ones I inherited from my Mom and I cherish each and everyone I have.
As someone who was a carrer nanny for many wonderful families (and a couple that were not so wonderful) I wish you and your nanny all the best. I have found that as I look back, I should have been more selective of who I worked for because it is a very difficult job and not enough people respect the position nannies are constantly put in. It is a juggling act to have authority over children and be respected and appreciated by the parents who are your boss. I ended my career of almost 40 years just last year with the absolute best family ever. I love the kids, the parents and even the grandparents! In fact, although I am concentrating on reselling now, I am going to "hang out" with the kids for a week next month while their parents go out of the country on a week long birthday trip. I hope you have found a wonderful fit for your family and that your nanny loves you guys as much as I love the families I was privileged to be a part of. ❤
I'm a nanny too & I agree with you, it's a tough job, but also one of the most rewarding things you can do!! I absolutely fall in love with my families and their kids! 💕

First time on a while. It happens. Luckily it was .99 and they didn’t chArge me.
After cleaning over 30 bakery boxes of grease pen marks, the very best thing I found that is safe gentle but works every time is Awesome Cleaner from Dollar Tree( well $1.25 lol) it cut right through it in a matter of a few seconds.... Love that cleaner.

If I remember correctly, Hagen Renaker figures were sold at the Coach House Gifts at our local mall when I was a kid in the late 80's. They weren't expensive so I had quite a few.

Check for a white prancing circus pony and a grey draft horse in harness in those Hagen Rennakers. I sold one of each of those for $100 per horse!!! Paid $1/each for mine at a yard sale.
I'm glad you didn't cut yourself with the broken glass, especially since it was near your foot. I collected miniatures in the 70's and 80's and they are all packed away but I know I have some Hagen Rennicker figures, but not gremlins. The wire dollhouse furniture is a good find, I know they were popular in the 80's.

I love watching you shop. Your excitement for the figurines reminds me of last week at Goodwill for me. I quilt and some had donated a ton of quilting fabric and precuts. I cleared the hanger section and the bins. A full cart. I finally understood the rush people say they get.

So I admittedly had to google the figurine maker you were so excited about...and omg I was so excited to see I collected those in elementary school! I even found them in my deep deep storage bins. 😂
I would have had a heart attack if I found all those Hagen Renakers! They are near and dear to my heart. I grew up in Southern California and collected them (inspired by mother who had her own collection, including many of the big, beautiful Maureen Love horses). I have certain ones that I will keep forever, but I've also sold quite a few of them. They may be going up in price now, too, because HR in San Dimas closed down at the end of 2021 (a company in Tennessee licensed them and are still doing some production, but it's not the same thing). My son and I had the pleasure of getting a guided tour of the production facility from Sue Nikas back in the early 2000s. She was so kind to us, it was a real joy. Congratulations to you on what I consider an amazing score!

Those dollhouse items were big & clunky for children to play with. I don't think they were worth much for resale. Check out miniature dollhouse furniture and accessories made for adults to collect.

Everyone is hot into charcuterie these days, so to me any platter or board that would work for that type of presentation is worth picking up. That little cast iron elephant would be a score. I live in northern MI and man, our Goodwills up here suck in comparison. I'd say they were about 75% clothing, stuff like blankets, sheets, etc and shoes & purses. There is very little in the way of anything else, even dishes & toys.
