How do you know 2 spins around like that?
Took the test today and failed ! Was shocked at this part, totally unprepared. I literally had to wing it. Thanks for your video but I still don’t understand it 😂 Hopefully I will understand it soon
Thank you!!!
do either way of folding will result the same cube ?
like folding it upwards or downwards?
Great questions :) remember to always fold the black lines/edges for the cube into the page.
Hope that helps
Thank you do very much! Great explanation!
Glad you found it helpful Monica! Best of luck in all your future endeavours :)
@@tvtoothqueen2195 Thank you, so very much!
Hi, I wanna apply for cadet pilot, should I use Skytest to prepare for assessment? or Skytest only for Captains?
That's awesome Feras AlFarsi!!! :)
I am actually in dental school and learned how to do these types of questions for the dental entrance exam. I'm afraid that I'm not much help when it comes to the pilot exams, but I wish you the best of luck! :)
Thanks for the video it was really helpful, but technically couldn't the cube be flipped the 5 and one don't have a direct necessary orientation.
You're welcome Sara. & yes, you bring up a great point. That is why we have to also look at the 3rd side for reference. Depending on the 3rd side (in this case whether we have a 2 or 3 on the top or bottom of our cube) we can then tell which side should be to the L or R (5-1 or 1-5).
Please let me know if this answers your question. :)
hey Toni. I am still having trouble with folding in/ folding out of the page. I know that we always fold into the page. But once folded, can the object be rotated as one of the answer choices?
Hi Mariah, I'm not sure I understand your question. But you always fold into the page and the answer choices can be rotated in any direction, so you may have to mentally rotate the image. Using my trick you may be able to eliminate answer choices without rotating. Hope that helps :)
@@tvtoothqueen2195 that actually answered my question. Thanks Toni!
@@mariaph9700 I am so glad to hear that :)
Thanx
thanks helped me alot
So glad to hear that :) please feel free to check out my other videos and subscribe if you would like.
Nice 👍
thank you so much!
Glad you found this video helpful Esra! Happy holidays :)
❤ your voice 😊
But if we follow the rules of eliminating sides that cannot touch, B can't be the answer because 5 and 2 are touching on the cube, yet on the unfolded diagram they're not. I'm confused.
Hi there, thank you for the question.
Try rewatching from 3:10 and rewatch the intro. At time 3:10 I show you that 2 can be spun above 1, which will make it next to 5. Remember the folded up image is a 3D image displayed in a 2D plane. You can cut up the unfolded diagram in more than one way and still get the same cube. Hope that helps :)
I also highly recommend checking out these two videos that I've made. I think the more questions you see and practice the easier it will get.

@@hhs1784 Thanks for the positive feedback :) I'll do my best to post more. Are there particular types of questions you would like me to do?
But if you flip option B upside down you would have 2 on top and 5 on the right and 1 on the same spot. So how come it can't be option B?
@UptownRepresentative the correct answer choice is B. You got it right :)
Your voice 😍😘😘
You stated in the beginning that 2 and 4 are opposite and 1 and 3 are opposite. Therefore 1 and 3 cannot be shown together. No need to go through flipping anything. Answer "C" is correct and easily determined by what you stated in the very beginning.
There is always more than one way to solve every PAT question, I simply explain my thought process :)
@@tvtoothqueen2195 kuch samajh ni aaya ki aap ne kaun SA tarika lagaya.
i 've also found answer C to be the correct answer. I cut out the cube and folded it myself... Still tips on opposite sides are helpful.
What about the shaded questions?
I'm not sure I understand your question. If you mean instead of numbers or dices, but rather shaded sides (like diagonal or half shaded) then you can still apply the trick I describe from 0:00-1:26.
Here is a video I made with shaded sides :) Hope this helps
