I do that with boat plugs. You only need to get 2.5hrs from anywhere that sells boat plugs one time to realize you should have one riveted to the hull on a thin cable lol
I wouldn’t need one on the Texas coast, but I love the thought that went into this build. It has me thinking about a cart for surf fishing though. Ice fishing is on my To-Do list though.

Hi there,Evening Jake sir. Very nice & clean looking mods. Would've been nice to see better view of pin mount for shovel (without shovel in the way) & maybe a parts list listed in the description. Curious how has the setup held up? With the propane auger was it too heavy to mount?
Jake. Classy design and clean small welds. Looks sweet. Lots of guys with good ideas, some Frankenstein, some heavy. This looks light to pull. I have the same Jet Sled and can't find similar adjustable rod holders on Amazon. Would you mind providing the link or brand for the rod holders? thanks, Darren

Drill a small hole next to the spring clips then use some 550 cord to dope rope it to the sled. There's no chance of dropping/ losing them.

Ummm, so how deep are you rod handles below your reels? Mine are like an inch or two. Seems like they'd fall out of those holders, no?

Got them off an old fan I had in the shop. Just cut, welded, and modified them a little.
