both decks have had issues. Amps loosing signal randomly, replaced both and no issues. Could be bad luck. I think most are good

You down graded when you took out the pioneer
how so? system Sounds no different yet I gained a huge display and a deck that pulls up the usb files ten times faster. so exactly how did I down grade?

I have had pioneers mainly all my life when running without amp still have speakers rocking out. put another brand head unit in and lose wattage
Oh u see what your say no man I don't use deck power. I have two amps in the trunk one sub amp on three tens and then a two channel amp running my door speakers.
My front sound stage amp puts out 150 watts x 2. Soon to be 300 x2
I'd rather spend the money on a good head unit. This is way too generic.
And what would you hope to achieve by spending more?
You'd rather waste money on a brand name which most likely has the same quality as this? You have to pay attention to specs to determine what's good and what's trash. Something that looks generic doesn't mean it can't perform.
