I have been working in a lab 17 years. I do agricultural contamination testing. I'm one of two women in my place of work. I have worked for this company 12 years. Stand up for yourself. Its that simple. I've seen way more ageism than sexism. Generally speaking in my field its the loudest mouths struggle to meet the workload requirements. Its a unisex issue. They also tend to be the biggest complainers. I've had lots of female peers come in hot trying to change everything a month after being hired, then they get in their feelings about being told no. For context, I work in rural Oklahoma.

I work in a lab with a woman who has similar claims as this, for some reason she believes her word isn't taken as seriously or that she is disrespected, it's completely fabricated and blown out of proportion. Most of the time we have to work around her bent attitude and still listen to her complain like we don't all put in the same work 🙄
When I was in school I knew so many women with that same twisted mentality. My subject of study was Welding. Interestingly enough, there were girls there. Quite a few actually, all lesbians which was good bc I was the only gay man there. All the girls already had the “men don’t take me seriously” attitude. I remember asking one of them why she thinks that and she struggled to give a believable situational example. They also thought the Instructor was sexist bc he graded their welding and all got like 5/10 when most of the boys got 7-8/10 to 10/10 (which btw getting a 10/10 is HARD everything needs to be perfect) One of the girls showed me her welding and it’s all wiggly. I had no idea how she did that. But my best guess is just the fact that the girls, even tho they are lesbians and claim that they can do what men do, simply can’t handle the massive heat or the heavy welding nozzles for long periods of time. And that’s okay. Even myself, as a man know my limits. I can’t stand there with a 45lbs giant angle-grinder grinding away at massive I-beams for 8hrs straight. With only a 10min break and a 30min in between. At the end of it all, I just don’t understand why some women just refuse to believe that men and women are different. Heck, that everyone is different.
