Wow, the heart, I remember that as a kid. I haven’t been there in a long time. My nephew is 5 & I think I will take him there 1 day in the near future. I also remember the train too. Thanks for the memories, Philly Captain, you’re a solid dude!
This video brought back so many memories of t the time I actually had a student membership to the Franklin institute back in the mid 1960 s when I lived in W Wayne. I enjoyed th Heart you could walk through,the giant Periodic Table,and visiting the planetarium. Thanks captain for the nice tour through time for me
Thank you for letting me (vicariously) revisit some of my childhood memories! I grew up in South Jersey and Philly in the early 90’s, and I have the most vivid memories of visiting this museum as a kid. The heart exhibit, the pendulum staircase and the train are the ones that I remember the most, so it was great seeing them still there!
Dang….you brought back some serious childhood memories….especially with the heart and train!💯😃. I also remember how the train moved…it was the highlight of our field trip…. 😃🙌
When I was little, probably 10 years old , I remember the "train conductor" instructing me on what knobs to turn in order to get the train moving. I thing it was more for a reenactment ....the train didnt move when I was there. I love the Franklin Institute....My favorite sections were the heart, electricity city and of course the Tuttleman iMax theater
First I got hypnotized by the OP art spinning thing, then amazed by the pendulum, since I was hypnotized I watched the whole thing....the heart, train, cool stuff, could just imagine all the kids screaming " lavender!" In better days. Ben Franklin looked like a butter sculpture. Keep hanging tough. We need you, especially now when everything is scary and dumb. I know all this covid and political situation junk affects you, too. Thanks for everything you do!!!

I haven't been there (or anywhere, LOL!) in a minute! it's eerie to see so few people there. looks like now's the time to visit!
