thats a good theory but I don't think is going to happen because of two things
1-theres a low chance for the child to stay alive after the fight between Maeve and soldierboy
2-if theres a child is going to be either dead or human bc she already lost her superpower

I think if Queen Maeve were to conceive Butcher's child, it would most likely be some sort of mutant supe. Assuming Butcher still had the V-24 in his system at the time, along with the radiation blast from Soldier Boy, Maeve could accidentally create a true superior being or a monster. The child would also most likely have to be getting older much quicker than a normal child/supe to catch up with Ryan.
That feels like something that would happen in the comics.
I have a theory that Jeffrey's character is definitely another imagination of Butcher like Becca...I think his character was once Butcher's close friend and also a victim of Homelander or any other supe...we know Becca got killed but it was an accident by Ryan where Jeffrey's character also got killed but it was a murder...thats why the Parasite using him turning Butcher into more aggressive to retaliate on Homelander as well as other supes and do crazy things but Becca on the other hand trying to get Butcher to do the right thing...all I am saying Becca is the sign of an angel where Jeffrey's character an evil

I wondered this too because why else would the writers make them sleep together? It didn’t really impact the story in anyway and they didn’t have romantic feelings for each other. Maybe they did it just so Homelander would find out she was working with The Boys, but he could tell Ryan was hanging out with Butcher, so that’s out.
It caused homelander to trap her in a white room and caused the big fight in the end with Maeve and homelander

Even if she was pregnant, and the child was a supe, there's the blast from Soldier Boy to consider.
One way to do it is to have the child come in as a supe baby, and this is how they realise that Ryan is probably immune to Soldier Boy.

I see it more likely that at the end of the series Hugie and Annie adopt Ryan and help him live the life he choose to honor Butcher, Becca, and in time they give him a lil sibling. A chosen family that would piss homelander off.

Season 5 theory- Ryan isnt actually first natural born supe...... but rather homelander injects without Becca and Ryan knowing....... Ryan somehow gets to know this and helps the boys in killing homelander
I'd rather have Ryan learn what his father did to his mom and have that as his final motivator to kill Homelander.

It was only Homelander that was thought to be sterile. Which is why he was so surprised he got Becca pregnant.
Supes are shown throughout the show to be able to reproduce, but the offspring are born as just regular humans(Mesmer, Translucent, Stormfront and Victoria Neuman all had/have kids).
Which is why Ryan is special, he’s the first natural born supe so far.

As a story it would be the greatest revenge against homelander and a great plot twist. But as characters it would be hypocritical of Butcher to do this, be cruel to Maeve and Elena, and just wouldn't make sense as they barely had any time together

I believe everyone that looks down on Homelander are going to have a slug fest with him. Butcher is too attached to Becca to get someone pregnant, especially another supe. If it does happen it would be quite the twist, but with no lead up to it, it would just fall short in the narrative and would seem like a tact on "F*ck you" to Homelander.
If that will be the twist I hope it's atleast written in well enough for the twist to work.

Wow I never thought of that it would be a huggge turning point in the show let’s say homeboy a.k.a. Homelander son becomes evil and he loses Ryan ( butcher ) incomes move with the child says he is yours …. That would give Butcher another reason to keep on living and it would be an ultimate. Karma a bitch to homelander - Maeve the one woman that Homelander still kinda cares for and that would one make him wanna kill her leading to “scored earth” being the only way this will end he will stop at anything to make his son have a wonderful life - That’s a interesting theory that would be a wtf moment that would reignite butcher and homelanders beef and anyone everyone could die at that point That would be an awesome way to end this season and then they have two seasons to do the storyline and then add some of the “aftermath” I like it ! 👍
