When In my 20s I didn’t have money for fashionable clothing. Everything I liked was beyond expensive- until I came across two pairs of Betsy Johnson high waisted, bell bottom slacks made out of corduroy . One pair was navy and the other pair was red. I wore them with cotton long sleeved white T-shirts- everyday, like a uniform. This was in 1970.
