- In this episode I FINALLY sort out the cooling system on the 57 Chevy. The fan kicks on and off as it should. It was nice going for a drive and not having people point at the smoke screen. Now that it runs and drives I can figure out all the rattles, squeaks and leaks.

Good job! I had a pinion leak as well. A new seal and no more leaks. 👍
yup every time I cross somthing off the list another item gets added to the bottom
I just bought a 57 Chevy 4 door with same color as yours. I am currently working on getting the 283 running (tune-up, points conversion, cooling install, 2bl carb rebuild). I have not tested the transmission yet. Everything is all factory and numbers matching. I also have a vintage a/c to finish installing. I am thinking of upgrading to 4 bl carb, but not sure. At some point I will do a LS conversion, but that will be many years down the road when my daughter is old enough to work on it with me.
My trans also was foamy and would puke out fluid. Found out there tibia vent on top that was plugged up. Cleaned it out snf all is good.
Another great video..its nice to see someone else put stuff down then can't find it..thought it was just us old guys that did that..😂😂..keep it up👍..
us good looking young guys misplace stuff too haha!
The '57 is really coming along!! Minor leaks, you got that covered...Great job!! Ya brought ANOTHER TRI-5 back to life!!!
That Bellaire has been a heck of a vidio series that I don't want to end! I hope to see more! I would like to see it painted and button up the small things that it needs! Here's To the future maybe
maybe one day ill paint it.... not really my style haha
Man I love the patina and those cragers are fire . She’s just screaming for a road trip . Fantastic work like always . Cheers
Nice job, Dan. I love that thermostat fan setup. I believe it's a better way to cool an engine. I saw the video where you drove it, I didn't get a chance to comment, but I enjoyed the ride. Thanks for letting me hang around in your shop again. The 57 is turning out great.
thanks for all the support along the way! I really appreciate it my friend
You have done this car great man. Looks super sweet. I would love to see you and Vice Grip Garage meet up and do a video.
That would be sweet! Maybe one day I'll make it!
Your so lucky...
You still get some beautiful classic cars over there....
Hope the inspection goes ok
thanks!
love blue and yellow plug wires great video sir you did a hellva job on the 57
I enjoy your videos! On your horn wiring it should be a ground system just like your fan you really don't want hot wires running through your dash if you don't have to and through your firewall having the power under the hood with a relay and grounding it with a horn button is so much better!
The car is coming along. Another great video 👍
Good job! It's going to be a great ride for her . I know she's gonna enjoy it. 🙃
Another great video. Keep them coming!
Nice work man looking and working great.

@@DDSpeedShop ya gotta scour the local junk yards and swaps, alot of mid 70's parts bolt right in and a 1964 Master cyl will give U a better pedal.a bolt in tooo!!!!!
I always look forward to your next video. Your doing an amazing job with getting them classics back on the road. I was wondering what part number the fan switch kit is? Thanks bro. 👊✌
thanks man! It was just the amazon choice switch haha.
I would love to have a 57 Chevy Belair.
what's stopping you? Are you in the market?
Great videos! Where did you get the radiator? Appreciate your help.
Great video 👍
Great channel been meaning to ask you for the Amazon link for the fan switch kit Iam in Ontario Canada
The list is gettin short....now come start fixin all the little stuff on my 57..starting with the drivers side mirror. I can not keep that tight.
Wishing you LUCK!
thanks man!
Why dont you just get the proper horn ring or steering wheel and do it right? 😏. Other than that, coming along beautifully.
costs $$$$. I've got my eyes peeled for one though
Hey bud could you tell me what kit you got for the fan?
it was just the amazon choice. Search fan switch. super simple set up
Awesome work. What was the companys name for the kit. Im going this route soon. Keep em coming.
I'm not too sure it was an amazon choice's
