its true on her wedding night she heard it on the radio and called prince and they went to the recording studio that night. this was almost the version. but when prince asked her if she wanted this to be hers instead of little red corvette she said to just keep the melody for his song. but he did help her with the new melody for stand back which is why it fits so well
