No banjo beats a Stelling! That's why I have 3!!!
Ben do you have a favourite out of the 3, and why?
The first banjo my parents bought for me in 1977 is the White star and I love the neck and playability. I absolutely love the look and tone of my Staghorn but my absolute favorite to play is my Red fox...it's just so easy to play and sounds great to me! Thank you for asking 🙂 I consider myself truly blessed to have such awesome banjos. You can't beat Stelling!
My friend has one of the first Stelling Staghorns. It looks like an arch top to me. They can talk about those prewar banjos all they want, but the Stellings are every bit as good or better to my ear.
Proud to own a 1979 Stelling Super Star. Thank you Geoff.
I have a Stelling Bellflower purchased from Dan's Pickaway in South Milwaukee Wi. in 1982. I mailed Geoff over the banjo and he replied to me. It is a beautiful instrument.
after many, many highpriced Banjos, the Stelling is for me the one with the best finish and craftmanship
and tone you can buy-without any hype and I`m not on the paylist of the company .
best regards from Germany-Wolfgang
Awesome sounding banjo's of the highest quality!
Incredible instruments and nice playing!
That is so beautiful! I could listen to that banjo all day!
This is so cool ! I used to live right next to Geoff in San Diego and had the pleasure of getting a rare tour of the shop. I got to see how they were made and some really awesome custom banjos, I particularly remember one with checkered flags he made for a stock car driver (my father built racecars) . Was a quiet neighbor and a great guy. We were sad to see him move away. Cheers Geoff from SD/Spring Valley Ca. !
I have a 1982 Bellflower, purchased from Gruhn's, in Nashville in 1987. Never regretted the day I bought it. Love it... I guess Eddie Adcock or Alan Munde probably love there Stellings , as well...Enough said...
That nautical Stelling makes my heart skip a beat!
This is banjo porn. CZcams needs to censor this!
