Just started learning this on my own. Super easy. He hits the Em as a bar on the 7th fret, goes to a D with the same fingering of an A on the 5th fret and then pretends he plays a bar C on the 3rd fret but mutes the top 2 strings. Switches to the regular chord fingering for the 3 chords as if you were playing in the key of Em from a G... arpegiate here and there, lather, rinse repeat. You can play it as much as you want but unless you sing like him there's no real comparison.
