- Take a glimpse at what a term at the Old Idaho Penitentiary was like. Combining historic photographs with oral histories from former inmates, guards, chaplains and wardens, this mini documentary reveals everything from daily meals to the horrors of Siberia.
I used to walk by there often on hikes up to Table Rock. Very scenic. I had no idea of its storied history.
My uncle was there in 1957 and in 1972 just before the riot. It's pictures in this program his name is Walter Cox I grew up hearing many many stories of the old Idaho State Penitentiary I've had a total of three uncles there. One story that is not even thought about today is back in the day there they had a cat named Charlie that would go from the 1-yard to the other yard
A whole family a screw ups huh pal
Now they have a badass chopper show there
That was good. Where can I find that music?
Great video 👍
I live in I Idaho!
I was a childhood friend of Alfred Millinger who got a 180 day ryder for Pot. but ended up getting life in the riot for murder.
That was really a hoot! Just like Idaho. Thanks. They ought to put that on TV you know when you gotta kill a few minutes after a movie ends. Nowdays it's all garbage nothing to make you think.
