I pray that all congregations learn to identify challenges that their congregants are going thru and offer genuine love & support.
I live in Colorado and I wish I could have met and spoke with you..I am a member of the Church, worked in the domestic violence field, and have been married to a member of the church, but wasn't the husband God describes in the bible..sorry you had to go through this alone. You arey sister in Christ, and I love you, and am truly sorry u felt this pain alone.
Are yall still married? And I married my husband who was in the church.. but he completely changed after we got married. I missed some red flags. But lets just say he really wasnt being truthful to me about how he really felt about the church.. we are now separated and I am a single mother again. I be praying all the time God changed my circumstances. I pray that my husband seek God truly. But im getting to a point of limbo. I want my marriage just like that woman did. I dont know if ill be able to remarry down the line of life.. if he truly divorces me, im not for sure.
