@@calvinlyles5828 I just got my pair from GOAT as well. Do the yellow stickers on your box have some texture to them where they feel raised like they're real? Everything mostly looks good on my pair but the inside size tag is throwing me off. The tag is stitched pretty high where you can't make out the words "US" for the shoe size and the top half of the little jumpman logo next to the shoe size is also hidden because of the stitching

For real, that’s why I only buy replicas because I’ve had so many authentic shoes and I’ve had duplicates because I like a certain pair of shoe, and there are so many inconsistencies with two authentic pair of shoes. This is why I don’t buy shoes because of hype. I just buy what I like, and put them on my feet and crease them and maybe get a little smudge on them here in there, and maybe wipe it off at the end of the day. But yeah, I agree. We do need a video of somebody compare it to authentic pair of shoes and check in for differences which there will be.

When prices dropped I regretted it bur this was before I knew there was 500K pairs. I have only copped 2 pairs of 1s in store in the last 2 years.
However, I was able to cop 3 personal pairs for retail and a pair for the wife and my 3 children. At this point I think I can retire from snkrs for a while. They were the last pair I needed for the collection. Chicago 1s are the first pair of Js I had in 1985. So it's fitting they will be my last. It came full circle. Lucky you, I hit every raffle for the past 2 weeks even SNKRS the second the raffle button popped up and lost ALL of them.The second they launched I sat in que at Snipes after two hrs the progress/stock line hit the end and somehow I was greeted with a pair in my cart and just needed to pay and cop.Well even though all my info was up to date and paying with CC payment then Paypal the site NEVER confirmed payment the "confirm and pay" button would go from black to grey after paying yet my payment never went through!!? Snipes stated not to leave the cart page or i lose my pair shoe so I secured a pair but Snipes screwed me over by never accepting my payment even when Paypal confirmed and paid now costed me $500 for a pair cause of that BS.

Kinda wish I had copped the fake joints to keep it a buck. The quality looks good on the fake. I mean it's 2022, I've seen fake Rolex's that dealers couldn't tell the difference. A ROLEX. And not to bust ya bubble but these are made in a factory. No shoe will be the same or 100% perfect quality . I compared mimes with a coworker and we found so many differences.

All 3 of my retail pairs are so inconsistent, with the worst part being the red panel on the upper heel is completely uneven (the wings logo side lower than the other side) unless this was intentional?

At the end of the day people should do what makes them happy. Sometimes the fakes don’t cut it on a shoe like this. I see plenty of people who review reps and are paying resell for the real deal. It is what it is.
Hard to pull the trigger on resellers (GOAT and StockX have instances of selling reps 'by accident'), especially local resellers. They can be selling you 1:1 reps. Might as well get quality reps and save yourself the stress of Legit checking for buying the same looking shoe if you can't buy from retailers. That is unless you're just a business person looking to earn profit from reselling shoes too
No such thing as a 1:1 rep. There’s always distinct differences that can be found between them . I’ve done multiple real vs fakes on this shoe and there’s always a difference when it comes to legit checking. On foot who cares it doesn’t really matter then. Wear your kicks and jeep it moving.

Nowadays people really don't care about buying reps. I know most will try to cop legit pairs but if not they will go to the next best thing before paying these outrageous prices. Hell one of my friends asked me how much I wanted for my size 9 and when I told him what I wanted he said naw I'm good I will just buy the reps instead.. Honestly I don't blame him.

when you dont have the real thing next to you to compare its kinda hard unless. The biggest thing for me was the sticker on the box. Mine is exactly like yours, slanted while the fake was more horizontal. Unless that's commonly moved around its an obvious tell.

I agree. I have 2 pair of men's. One is sz8 (from Nike store) the other is 9.5 (from Finish Line). The toe boxes are different, side panel cracked leather is different, even on the same pair of the 9.5. One has minimal frosting on the outsole, and the other is heavily frosted. On the sz8 the texture on the midsole is different on each shoe. QC at Nike is essentially non-existent. Many variances that appear on real vs fake also appear on real vs real. Nike tripping 😂😂

I actually have 2 pairs myself. I purchased a pair off EBay because I had never won on the SNKRS app but then I actually won this time. When I compare them everything looks the same, box is the same size, color looks the same, inside the actual shoe looks the same but there are 2 things that bother me a little.
#1 The shape of the arch on the insole of the eBay pair appears to be different to me than the pair I have directly from the SNKRS app.
#2 The pair from the SNKRS app seem to be slightly heavier than the ones from EBay. I don’t have a scale that can measure such small weight so I really don’t know if it’s just me. Has anyone else experienced anything similar with theirs???

by far this pair of shoes was the hardest to cop unless u lucky and legit checking it is hard cuz every legit pair are different mine was perfect except one pair had a pink mark when using black light
I finally secured a pair in cart at Snipes (but site screwd me and never got passed "pay/confirm") after sitting in que for 2 hrs from launch minute.I carted a pair right before the que progress/stock bar filled up and ended.I was shaking of excitement (retail price!) with my secured pair (their words) in cart but no matter how many times I paid with CC and even Paypal who also confirmed I paid but everytime I hit pay and confirm the button would just grey out and never went to order paid/confirmed page.That BS made my pair cost me $500 instead of the retail price I secerured after much waiting and luck.
